I have. 62 20mgs if fluoxetine....i skipped a few days of my pills and want to take them all..what will happen?

i dont no whats up wi me lately i dont no who i am anymore! an it scares memy partner of 4yrs has left me cause he cant cope wi my moods been on fluxtine for a few months only 20mg ! but i dont always feel down some days i'm ok then i can just start feelin down for no reason an without even realising an i'm always snappy an when i get angry i lash out an do things without thinkin!

ve just been prescribed Fluoxetine 20mg a day, and been taking them for 11 days now. The anxiety symptoms have worsened and I feel v anxious and queasy quite a bit of the day. I've read that these are passing symptoms and that these side effects will go after a couple of weeks. can any one offer a word of kind reassurance? Thank you.

If you suddenly stop taking fluoxetine, you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as mood changes, irritability, agitation, dizziness, numbness or tingling in the hands or feet, anxiety, confusion, headache, tiredness, and difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. i am taking fluoxetine for anixety,panic i feel sick and nausea all day , i can only eat a little bit then i feel very full. i am also having heartburn with this does anyone else take this medication and if so do you have or know if these symptoms are normal?

Another way to avoid withdrawal is to take fluoxetine (Prozac) for a few weeks after stopping Lexapro (or any other SSRI), then simply stopping the fluoxetine. The very long half-life of fluoxetine causes it to leave the body over a period of months, tapering so slowly that the person doesn't have any withdrawal. My recommendation at this point would be to go back on a low dose of Lexapro--maybe half of what you used to take.

My brother went to a psychiatrist and he prescribed him fluoxetine and xanax. He said that my brother should take one 20mg tablet of fluoxetine for the morning and 0.5 tablet for xanax for morning and night for 14 days . He said to take the 0.5 mg xanax tablet half in morning and the other half at night So, my brother took the fluoxetine and xanax for 14 days and then again went to the psychiatrist. I cannot seem to kick the Daytime sleepiness. I am taking 40 mg, fluoxetine, 150 bupropion. When I was on the bupropion with lamictal it seemed like I had less of this sleepiness. I went to the doctors and saw a new doctor 5 weeks ago and he said he would take me off trazadone 50mg and to start taking fluoxetine i asked him when i take the fluoxetine he said today and in 4 weeks he will cut down my trazadone. But the 4 week appointment he was not in so i cancelled it.

Fluoxetine is generic Prozac. I've been on it a few times, and I'm back on it again. It will take 4-6 weeks before you begin to feel a difference (sometimes sooner). But it will happen. The only side effect I've ever had from it was insomnia, but that always goes away in a few weeks, so give it some time. As far as alcohol goes, you don't say how much you drank, but I have had a couple of beers now and then on fluoxetine without any problems.

There's no such thing as a nervous breakdown. You need to get into therapy. As for the medication, you won't know if it'll work until you try it -- we all react differently. Alcohol increases depression and stomach problems, so that's a problem, not a remedy.

Ive been to the doctors and they put me on Fluoxetine tablets. One a day until they tell me to stop. However I've had two so far but want to stop. I know you have to slowly come off of them but if I've only had two can I just stop? Please help!

I experiended severe nausea and no appetite. 6 weeks later, I still have nausea from the Fluoxetine. I've been taking Fluoxetine (generic Prozac) for a few years now and about 6 months ago I upped my dosage. My sex drive on the lower dose was already low, but now it's almost non-existent. At first it wasn't a problem because I haven't been seeing anyone, but now that I am I would really like to try and fix this problem. Overdose symptoms are depressed respitory system, you basically stop breathing, dizzy spells to the point where you feel as though you are passing out, blurry vision. OD dosages are certainly unique to each individual and based on tolerance levels. But I dont think 15mg of ocycodone are going to throw you into an od status.
