Avatar m tn When you starve the candida (very low carb, no sugar, no yeast, no alcohol anti-candida diet) coupled with the anti-fungal treatment -fluconazole which is the standard medical treatment & coconut oil- it will eventually get eradicated. Probiotics also help fight Candida by replenishing your healthy gut flora, but must be good quality and wire spectrum The rule of thumb is 1-2 months of treatment per year from the onset, which BTW is unsymptomatic at first.

Avatar f tn t affect you if you had herpes, unless you had sores in your urethra, but that would hurt every time you urinated, not just when you had alcohol. Alcohol can really irritate a UTI. So long story short - you need to go back to the doctor, and do it soon.
