20 years old is young to already be on blood pressure medication. Has your doctor done lab work and imaging to find a cause for your elevated blood pressure? Are you overweight or obese? aloneinthismaze -- how many pvcs do you have a day? I have them, too, but luckily, I've never noticed any. I can't imagine what that must be like! I'd DEFINITELY get checked out with your new symptoms. Get your liver checked out ASAP.
that's probably from the Bystolic getting your blood pressure down too low. Did you lose weight recently? Can you check your BP when you feel light-headed?
Maybe your doc will reduce your dosage.
Also, make sure the light-headedness doesn't result in a fall.

I was taking the generic form of Toprol (?) for my high blood pressure, 25 mg and it was giving me problems after being on it for over a year. Horrible dreams, head aches/pressure, and pain in the area of my left kidney. The Dr put me on Bystolic, but it was samples and there is no information on side effects. I have started having stomach problems and acid reflux lately. Can the Bystolic be causing this? What would be other good choices?
I am a healthy person with no respiratory illness (asthma, COPD etc) and have normal blood pressure though I have beem told during those episodes that my blood pressure was very low. Dr. has tried me without the drops (pressure soared) and on other drops that didnt work or that I had side effects with so Cosopot it is. ve had nose pain in my right nostril that causes forehead pain/pressure and pressure behind my eye and eyebrow. Usually, the pressure/pain stays on the right side, the side where my nose also hurts. I've looked at it and it appears the nasal turbinate is inflamed/irritated compared to the one in my left nostril. It does hurt to touch that side of my nose. I don't exactly know what is causing it, but the pressure gets worse when I go running outside.
