Everything else feels the same and functions the same, but the amount is very small. I used to be able to fill up a tabespoon almost. Is there something out there (that is not a scam!) that can actually increase your volume?

We are just guessing that the way Flomax works by relaxing muscles is causing these effects. (Could the enlarged prostate end up pressing even more on muscles?? I hear ya... I've been on .4 Flomax since January and its hard to get off of it. It basically tells the bladder neck muscles = "ok we are going to do your job now, take a break"... so to speak.. but when you stop it seems neither the muscles or the drug obviously are doing the job and they tighten back up and I get he urine retention again... Its very frustrating because I was doing exceptionally well before trying to stop.
I am in my third week....Am I too impatient How long can i expect to have vision back?
I will be on a alpha blocker (rapaflo, similar to flomax) for several days prior to stent removal. It is supposed to relax the ureter.
Will rapaflo prevent the severe pain or just not make it last as long? Not sure what expectations are for this medication.
Flomax can reduce the amouht of seman that you produce. It would be unusual though to have this production reduced down to zero unless the man was ejaculating very often. In general terms Flomax is a useful medication with very few side-effects..

I have been on this medicine (together with a double dose of Flomax) for the past two years. I have noticed a definite improvement in urinary symptoms (fewer trips to the bathroom, better flow), but it has wreaked havoc with my sex life (no erections, no ejaculation). I would like to quit, but am afraid that the effects of quitting might be worse than the ones I am currently experiencing.

Long story short, I have about a 12 yr history with stones, had to have the first two surgically removed but have passed all of the others on my own (10+).
I have had this current stone since July. The pain and symptoms would come and go to where I could deal with it and continue trying to pass it. In October I finally went to a Urologist and had a CT done because the urinary symptoms had gotten so bad. They said that it was right at the bladder and to take the Flomax and drink up.
