Anyway I am already on Valium (for years) and Lamitctal However the ER doc prescribe oxycodone, flexeril, and for some reason ativan? Which I kept telling them i don't understand since i am already on 20mg valiums? They kept saying they will ask and the Doctor said she would update my med information but when i got home I saw they did not update any information and she wrote to take all 3 with no comment on the valium i already been on for years?

I had very bad side effects from Flexeril. Just on one dose I was speaking and the words coming out of my mouth was not what I meant to say. It made me extremely foggy too, to the point where I could not fuction. It took 3 days for the med to completely get out of my system. I will never take it again.

I have taken flexeril, could not take more than a 1/4 or I would feel very odd. Maybe that was a good thing. You can get a pill cutter and start cutting your dose. We aren't allowed to talk about how to dose hopefully you can get the jist of this. While trying to wean down I would up your vitamins. There is something called a Thomas Recipe but that is for narcotics,so not sure if it would work for you. Your muscles may need more magnesium than normal.

along with flexeril and anti depressants and stuff .she was in a horrible CSR accident in 2001 with barely functioning kegs Cuz they both exoded and she had all the bones rebuilt from her knee down ....so anyway ..the new pills prescribed to her today was clonodine and something else that starts with a b for abdomen pain .... Are you sure the flexeril dose is 100mg?That is high..flexeril comes in 10mg tabs and 100 mg is 10 tabs a day?Is this right?

I like to know as much as I can about my meds. I know the lethal dose of lithium is about 5gs or 5000mgs which is about 5 times what I am prescribed. I also have looked up the symptoms of lithium toxicity (not fun). But I can't seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place. So my question is when would symptoms begin to show and when would death occur.

I wouldn't recommend opioid medication for your husband since he is a driver. He has a commercial driver's license, right? If so, the requirements to maintain that license is strict and they don't allow commercial drivers to be under the influence of any medications that may impair his driving. If he is at home for a couple of days, he could try to take prescribed opioid medications during that period of time when he is not driving.

that is an extremely high dose...you should know that barbiturate tolerance is very different than tolerance to other things. you need more and more but the lethal dose remains the same...so if 1gm is the lethal dosage, it won't change just because you've built a tolerance to the effects of it. i would find a taper plan immediately. you are very close to that lethal dose mark. barbiturates are so rare that most people don't understand the addiction.

After a few years on Flexeril I was recently switched to Baclofen. It seems like Bacofen is the go-to drug for MS related spasicity. The wanted me to start out on 1/2 does for 7 days and go to the full dose after that. I made it three days on the 1/2 dose and couldn't take it anymore. Since it takes a while to get to therapeutic levels I was kept awake all night with TERRIBLE spasms, worse than usual, I had muscle weakness and I was puking my brains out.

I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will. I feel jealous of everyone who gets tired or even feels anything from these pills. I was even on 6 gabapentin 300mg a day and it did absolutely nothing.
