It still felt great, but I guess my heart was now performing the same as before with having to do less work, showing better
fitness. Now just
fitness of the heart, but of the muscle groups around the body being involved too. Unfortunately for me, my bypass failed after a further 2 months and the most I could achieve was 100 before lots of discomfort. I remember after my bypass, my rate would be 68 when sitting and as soon as I stood up it would read 120 withing 3-5 seconds.
