Avatar m tn Hi today i was joined in the fitness center but i am failed in all exercises. while walking on the threadmill i am feeling dizzy within 7 minits and i am unable do the abdomen more than 8 times and other exercises.
Avatar f tn only 20% or so of the inspired oxygen is actually taken up by the blood through the lungs en route to the cells. An average human breathes some 12-20 times per minute. Now what you have to do is calculate the no of breaths you are having during your jogging per minute and then multiply accordingly. Take care!

Avatar f tn 206.9 - (0.67 x 23 (age)) = 191 191 - 65 (resting heart rate) = 126 126 * 65% (low end of heart rate zone) OR 85% (high end) = 82 OR 107 82 + 65 (resting heart rate) = 147 107 + 65 (rhr) = 172 The target heart rate zone for this person would be 147 to 172 First thing in the morning before you get out of bed have a clock with a second hand and check your resting heart rate then figure your rate by the Karvonen Formula above.
7677085 tn?1395377675 Part of my plan was to be able to jog with the stroller up to my mom's house (about a mile away) by the end of summer. I'm ten weeks right now I'm just wondering if anyone thinks I should even try for this now. I've known a woman with eight kids who ran through every pregnancy, but she was already active and in shape. I really want to get healthy for my baby and little girl but I don't want to risk hurting this pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Since I stopped, at first I was slightly tired but for the past few weeks I feel exhausted. At first I thought it was something else but now I think it's not working out. Has anyone else experienced something like this where you feel light headed and get headaches and are it's constantly tired.
Avatar f tn But I'm getting a very special gift from it.. My first child!! Who I wasn't ready for! Lol.. So now I get to start over!! And push harder!!
10203682 tn?1418697354 I'll talk to my doctor about it but how long have you ladies had to wait to start working out after baby was born naturally? I've been doing modified crossfit for a couple days now and I'm feeling pretty good obviously I'll have to stop for a bit once baby is out but how long should it be?
Avatar f tn I visited a two doctors which said that the only way to be fixed is with a surgery, but a few physiotherapist told me that it is not necessary, and I can do it with either fitness and swimming. So I have decided to do fitness. For the last three months I did a full body training with a diet, which included oat meals, fish, meat, cottage cheese, eggs, rise, avocado, potatoes, vegetables and fruits split on different meals 5-6 times per day. I am 1.69 and 54kg. My goal was to strengthen the back.
2062815 tn?1342888889 I feel for you. I worked out twice a day five time a week before I got pregnant. Now I am down to once four ats a week due to the Army's Pregnancy Pt program. I asked my on the same question and this is what she told me. "it all depends on you body and your baby" I was like WTF. Now I actually see what she means. I am 18+4 and I am always hungry. I eat six or seen meals a day small but healthy and when I wake up I am starving. My advice is not to worry about it.
547512 tn?1273248625 few weeks ago I had a mc at 6 weeks and I am going to try soon again. i allways love fitness and I was going to gym or running outdoors everyday. when i found out I was pregnant I stopped and I just swam. Now that I am trying again I am a bit confused whether is good or not exercise. I like to run but I dont know if its good for fertility or even if i became pregnant and I dont know it yet. Please if anybody know anything about this matter I would appreciate any kind of advice.

Avatar f tn Hi there and thanks so much for posting this question feel free to post in other forums such as the Neurology. Yes according to your description and as you said it is extremely important that you are working with more than one professional when comes of following medication sicne the strong argument right now is that medication should only be taken when "strictly neccesary" Some of these medications like you said can cause secondary effects on memory, physical movement or similar.
Avatar f tn I have been running for 6 months now and I thought it would get easier and easier. It has gotten easier I guess but it is still hard work. Is that normal?
Avatar m tn Eating healthier now will help you a lot as you get older. Little changes like walking instead of taking the bus are always helpful & cardio is truly awesome. Too much muscle building may be bad, but that doesn't mean you want to neglect strength training either. If you do weights, focus on doing more reps with lighter weights instead of pushing the limit with more weight. Here's a website that is targeted towards health & fitness for teens: http://www.toneteen.
Avatar m tn I have seen other members in the jim under the same trainer (and under different trainers as well) who have gained good muscles in just 4-5 months. Now, after about more than year of training, my personal trainer has suggested that this is very unusual. And I should consult a doctor regarding this. May be I have some other problems. Can you please suggest what I could do about this and which specialty of doctor would be the best to consult regarding this? Gender –Male.
Avatar f tn Some of it is from my fertily meds but i'm off all of them now. i got pregnant about 10lbs heavier than i was a year ago so i'm paranoid i'm going to be huge. i'm still only 130lbs but i just don't want to use pregnancy as an excuse to eat! i am a stay at home mom and work part time from home but for some reason i'm really worried about this. i want to know if anyone has suggestions for fitness that might benefit me and everyone else on here. i'm not really into yoga.
1278093 tn?1294323984 starting a thread to help me and others keep up their fitness regimen throughout our pregnancies (with modifications of course). anyone else with me? i managed to walk hills on the treadmill for 20 minutes and lifted weights today, despite really wanting to just go home to nap.
Avatar f tn Erica had mentioned on the CB thread that she was going to be doing the Wii Active 30 Day Fitness Challenge. I was thinking it would be fun to do it with a group of us. It doesn't matter if you have a Wii or whatever form of exercise that you like to do. Just so long as we are getting up and being active!! I just got done looking at the workouts on Active. I'll have to reset my start date, since I didn't go about it whole-heartedly. Heck I didn't even put my tennis shoes on.
Avatar m tn dropped to 140mg's/daily, which continued for another 5yrs- which brings me to now. I still take 140 but, I long for a methadone-free lifestyle. Mainly, more than anything, I want to lose the weight that methadone brought along w/it's treatment. I've tried staying fit during the last 10yrs at my local gym. However, every single time I work-out or do ANYthing strenuous(whether I'm working-out or not) I SWEAT SO MUCH that I feel over exerted as if I may faint!
3058848 tn?1340512394 I found that group fitness works for me and one thing that is really popular now is 'boot camp'. Finding a friend to do a class with me is great . . . motivates you to meet someone at a class. Our park district is doing them and they are outside. It also helps to find someone in your neighborhood that wants to work out as well . . . and to go super early before anyone in your house is even up (like 5 am).
Avatar n tn My concerns are mostly fitness related. I seem to be rather fit in most areas of my body except my lower stomach. I can't seem to lose weight it the abdomen area. Would there be a reason why? I have a bloated look, but I am not heavy in areas such as my arms, butt, and legs. I work out and eat in moderations, and have also found that if I do sit ups/scrunchs I still can't seem to see any results. I like to call it a "stomach pouch", because it has that appearance.
Avatar n tn I am a fitness instructor trying to help one of my members. She is currently taking a beta blocker that makes her heart rate stay the same no matter what she does or how much she exercises. In our exericse program, we try to manage the heart rate in an ability to get rid of fat. How can I help her get her heart rate up to a certain percentage while she is taking these beta blockers?
Avatar f tn (I've never seen that kind of blood pressure before on me.) So now I've got my answer, I have a sinus infection on that side of my head. I can live with that, no biggie Not that my doc was interested in me asking if I had that when I saw her earlier. She was definite in her answer of a migraine. Any, I'm just glad we found hopeully the root of the problem and it'll be gone.
Avatar m tn But starting from the past one week I have got ride of masturbation and will never no it hereafter. Now I need to recover from the consequences of masturbation and bad health. I am thinking of starting cardio exercises daily morning starting from brisk walking for 45 minutes. I hope this will help to reduce excessive fat from thighs, love handles and buttocks. But I have narrow shoulders, hollow cheeks and eyes & thin wrists. I am having rapid hairfall as well.
