1065258 tn?1273784139 At my first sppointment I was 4.5 weeks and they actually did an ultrasound. I was shocked, but of course it was too early to see anything besides the gestational sac. They did a blood test for hcg and progesterone, and I went back 2 days later for another blood draw. I also asked them to screen for toxo because I felt the chances that id been exposed were fairly high as ive been eating rare meat and cookie dough all my life (was hoping for immunity but it came back negative).
Avatar f tn a miscarriage and have a good relationship with your doctor. You are almost out of your first trimester and almost in the clear. Try not to stress too much you don't want to stress out baby.
Avatar f tn He probably wants you to make it past the first trimester, which is when most miscarriages occur.
1080181 tn?1425394866 (some doctors may refer to it as first trimester bleeding or early pregnancy bleeding form what i read online) Were you on birth control when you got pregnant or no? How long did the decidual bleeding last? Was it off and on? Did it feel like you had your period? How long was it before you realized you were pregnant? Was the rest of your pregnancy ok, or was it complicated all throughout? Any other info you can give me on decidual bleeding...? Did you have a history of complicated pregnancies?
Avatar f tn I'll be 19 in a couple months and am in my second trimester with my first. My best advice is to not worry so much, eat healthy, listen to your doctor and don't get too stressed out. Though you do have a few medical issues that im sure make you more nervous than some take comfort in the fact that though we're considered young to have children this is the best time, biologically speaking, for us to carry.

Avatar f tn It can mean a number of things. Anytime you have first trimester bleeding there's a 50% chance of miscarriage. I bled the whole first trimester with my daughter. Have you had sex recently? It could have agitated your cervix causing bleeding.
Avatar n tn OK so I'm in my first trimester and I'm having period like bleeding with clots and all i went to the doctors and had her check it out and she said it could be early signs of a miscarriage BUT she did a ultrasound and the yolk sac is still in place and my cervix is normal this bleeding only happens after sex this morning I didn't even have sex I just kinda got turned on and the bleeding started.
Avatar f tn Reading other peoples posts on here kinda give you and idea what to expect. First trimester is usually nauseated, tired, and nothing sounds appetizing but you don't actually have to gain weight. Don't worry if you don't have morning sickness but tired is very normal. Second trimester says it all gets better but for me it was better over time. Cramping is normal but bleeding is something you should ask a doctor if it happens.
Avatar f tn the first trimester is the most common time in pregnancy for a miscarriage. it's not normal to have cramps or pain that early in pregnancy. headache is probably just hormones.
Avatar f tn I was the same exact way. Always scared, always stressing. And now I'm going onto my 3rd trimester Wednesday :) just enjoy your pregnancy. Don't worry about it. Just take care of yourself. No heavy lifting, don't drink or smoke, most importantly DON'T STRESS :) And you should be just fine.
Avatar f tn I miscarried in December a few days after my vaginal ultrasound when I was 6 weeks. I am currently 6 weeks, 4 days & had a vaginal ultrasound today. I am so worried that that's what caused my last miscarriage, have any of you had one early in your pregnancy & delivered a healthy baby?
Avatar f tn s miscarriage symptoms in the first trimester or via first-trimester ultrasound for other reasons. If the woman does not have any signs of miscarriage, the diagnosis might not come until in the early second trimester when the baby's heartbeat does not become audible on a heart rate monitor. This miscarriage is common and many woman go on to have a successful pregancy next time.
Avatar f tn Anyone around that can't wait to get out of the first trimester so maybe I can worry about miscarriage a little less?? Mannnn!
Avatar n tn Because there is so much more blood flow to the cervix, etc, sometimes women bleed a little after sex during the first trimester. Walking is good for you and baby..i have never heard of walking too much being linked to miscarriage. There are some exercises that should be avoided though. rule of thumb...don't do anything that your body wasn't used to before pregnancy. Meaning, don't go out and try to run 2 miles if you're not used to running.
Avatar f tn just wondering , did anyone have bleeding in there first trimester , just some light blood . ?
Avatar f tn It is better to get the facts from the expert during the first trimester pregnancy and throughout your full pregnancy to relieve yourself of unnecessary stress and worry! Later in your pregnancy, if you experience bad cramping, diarrhea and back pain, call the doctor immediately.
Avatar f tn I found thos on line: The answer is not often at all in the first trimester. In early pregnancy, the uterus is low in the pelvis and very well protected by the mother's pelvic bones. In the first trimester, falling down stairs during pregnancy or experiencing a similar physical trauma would be unlikely to affect the baby or the placenta.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else experienced bleeding in their early pregnancy and have had or going on to have a normal pregnancy? I'm 6 weeks and i have been bleeding since 4 weeks. It started off as brown blood but is now red. My hcg levels this week showed a rise but I'm waiting until Monday until i get my next result. This is my 2nd pregnancy, my first ending in a miscarriage at 12wks.
