Now, I have noticed being on the VD for the past few weeks/months my nails finally seem to be growing slowly and not splitting or peeling, yet anyhow.

i finished my chemo for her2 br/cancer just over a year ago and my nails just keep on peeling back thin. I had the hardest nails around,you could not bend them,they were good. now they are thin and disgusting , will they go hard again and how long will it take. I am running out of patients,I am sick of them peeling thin.Its so annoying.I think a year and a half they should be back to normal by now. Please help me with more info.
Hello, hoping someone can help me out. I have skin that is peeling on the bottom half of my palm and only on the one hand. It just seems to be one layer that is peeling. It does not hurt nor is it red or rashy. Just really flaky and seems to be irritated more after I shower or wash my hands. Have a feeling its nothing serious just very annoying and unattractive. Could it just be from excessive washing?? I do TRY to moisturize often after I wash my hands.
Any ideas on what I can do?
And my hair is the same length, kid you not my hair is falling every single day and my nails are splitting into two, they bend easily fingernails feel very sensitive. Dr said to continue taking the regimen as Rx. Im wondering if anyone is experiencing something similar.

I can feel the pain, but touch feels strange in that finger now. The skin is peeling and the area keeps getting larger. Not sure if it helped the hair loss or not, but it helped my fingernails. I finally discontinued the MTX ~1 month ago . About 1 week after stopping MTX, I stopped my folinic acid and my hair loss seems to be worse and also my nails are splitting and my tongue is sore. ( I also had 2 Remicaid infusions 2 months ago in August and 1 week of Arava in May and am on Plaquenil (past 4 months and for awhile in the past).
