Hi, please tell me what can have caused my fingernails to get purple/bluish after one day of running much more than I was used, on July 14th. Since then, my fingernails stayed purple/bluish.
I have gone through EKG, echo, xray, CT scan, blood work and spirometry test, all came back normal. What other tests can I take?
I really run much more than what I was used. When I finished, my fingernails were purple. Since then, they have stayed that way. A week after that, I started having many other symptoms (headaches, wooziness, etc).
I was told by my doctors that it was raynauds, but now I have found out that raynaud causes attacks and then fingernails come back to normal. Mine are purple all the time, but occasionally my right thumb and left index turn very blue, although they return to purple when I press them.
One and a half month ago, I overexercised (went running a lot more than I was used to) and when I finished, my fingernails were purple/blue. Since then, they have remained purple. A week after that I started developing many other symptoms which I'm quite sure have to do something with that.

Purple fingernails all the time mean Raynaud's? Mine turned purple a month ago, just after overexercising and since then they remained purple, is this normal? Also, the coloration doesn't seem to change with temperature, does it still mean it is Raynaud's?

Maybe it sounds like an stupid conclusion, but I can notice that in every place where I should get a reddish color, I'm getting a light purple one instead. For example a rash, my fingernails, my face after crying, a scar, a scratch, whatever, now get light purple instead of red. I got EKG, echo and other tests, all came back normal. Another stripper was in bikini bottom--I placed my finger on the bikini material (which was wet with her fluids) with right index finger and middle finger and pressed (over clothing material), into the vagina for approximately two seconds. The color in my fingernails seems to be slightly darker than normal and maybe a little purple tinged. When I extend my fingers, the color leaves the front half of them. It lasted for some hours, but my fingernails never returned to their original colour. They are somewhat purple now. Only my thumb in my right hand gets very blue sometimes. This had never happened to me before that day. I never had any kind of respiratory problems.
I saw a gp, a cardiologist and and a pulmonologist and had some blood tests, ECG, echo, spirometry, and x-ray, the only result I got is a mild upper cervical disorder, the rest all ok.

Hi, occasionally my finger tips go a very dark purple along with my fingernails, with the middle finger going white as skin looks just after it has been under pressure. The fingers do not feel cold, but feel slightly numb, but when I put them to my face I feel that they are freezing cold. I've heard that this is bad circulation, but I'd like to know if I should be worried at all or if there's anything I can do.

ASKING BECAUSE MY NIECE BABY DIED INSIDE HER STOMACHE, AND HER LIPS WERE SUPER RED RED, HER FINGERNAILS WERE SUPER PURPLE, AND PART OF HER SKIN WAS BEGINNING TO PEEL OFF, SHE WEIGHED 8 POUNDS. SHE WENT TO SEE THE DOCTOR ON A TUESDAY, SHE TOLD HER SHE WAS BEGINING TO DILATE, AND THAT SHE WOULD DO THE C-SECTION ON THURSDAY, WHEN SHE GOT TO THE HOSPITAL THEY TOLD HER HER BABY HAD BEEN DEAD SINCE 24 HRS AGO.
it used to by about 110/70ish, but now its 90/50 more or less. my feet and hands are constantly freezing, and my fingernails on my hands are a deep pink/sometimes purple color. i told my cardio (showed him my hands) and he had no idea (which i found super weird that a cardio doctor couldn't make a correlation there...).
anyway, i consider these to by bad side effects of the medication. i mean, the bb is helping with the tachycardia; my 24hr average bpm is 76-78, and it used to by 96 (bad).

I suffer from freezing hands and feet almost all the time regardless of whether or not i wear gloves/socks. Its also accompanied by blue/purple colouration of my feet, hands and fingernails. Im not sure if its Raynaud's or nerve degeneration as i have lost feeling in the extremities to the point i cant determine hot from cold and a general numbness and clumbsiness. I am worried that the condition might spread also.

I've been obsessing a bit about my breath. I breath faster than normal, think it might be chronic hyperventilation. My nail beds are alway blue-purple, not a nice pink color. And I've been coughing, especially after a meal, for about 6 months.

In the winter she gets extremely cold hands and feet and her fingernails turn purple. She is not normally that cold to touch, as much as she feels cold herself. It actually causes pain. It leaves in the summer but in the winter its pretty bad, socks doesn't help, etc. She is only 21, so I was just wondering everyones take on it. She hasn't went to the doc yet...
