I have severe irritation in and under my belly button. Iside is a cut that I admittedly think I caused with my fingernail, but I've done that before and it's gone away on its own. This has been with me for at least 10 days now and theirs a growth that's formed directly below my b.b. The growth isn't a zit, I can feel it's mass underneath the skin. It's small but irritated badly. Hurts if I touch it. ---Please tell me what this sounds like to you.
hey. i've been having pvc's and my doctor put me on toprol XL 25 mg/day and they stopped for awhile and i weaned myself off the toprol. needless to say, the pvc's came back 3 weeks later. i also noticed lately that my fingernail beds are really pale but at the end behing the white part it is a dark pink. does anybody else notice this? i know that nails can give clues to health problems and i read that it can be related to heart problems.
About two months ago my fingernail developed a black mark near the nailbed. It has since continued up toward the top of the nail while changing brownish now puple with the uppermost tip is turning white. I have an appointment in October.It doesn't hurt and does not appear to look fungal according to my doctor. Is October to long to wait? I read that melanoma can develop under the nail.
Ever since I can remember, on my thumbnail and big-toe nail, there has been a strange deterioration. It looks like a series of grooves in the center of the nail (see attached pictures). My fingernails aren't weak or brittle and they're not really falling off or anything. I don't think it's anything serious, but I've always been curious what it is. I have a question about thrush. From the pictures I have looked at I am not certain that I am experiencing thrush symptoms but wanted your advice. I am getting white spots on my inner cheeks. Sometimes they are easy to wipe off. Other times it takes a bit of effort with my fingernail. When the white stuff comes out it has the consistency of mucous or a booger. About 10 days later I got a pimple or blister on the base of my fingernail. I popped it thinking it was a pimple but not I got another one on the same finger. It does look similiar to pictures of Herpes Whitlow except its only one blister not several and I have no pain, no tingling or no itching. Is it possible that I contracted Herpes Whitlow but not any oral herpes since I have not had any symptoms on my mouth?
I looked up thrush, and when I looked at the pictures of Lichen Planus, it looks like that. could it be Lichen Planus on the penis as well.....and what is the treatment for that?

A month or two ago, I had a one-month relationship with someone who told me he had HSV-1. We kissed deeply maybe a dozen different occasions.
Last night, I noticed a very small bump on my upper lip and what appeared to (maybe?) be a very small bump next to it. No pain or itching or anything like that: Just a tiny, firm bump. I know it was not there a day or two earlier because I've been admittedly pretty paranoid about HSV-1 (even though I know rationally that's idiotic).

Do you think the virus will transfer from my hand to zipper to then underneath my fingernail? Is it possible to get underneath the fingernail from a small metal zipper?
Does herpes whitlow cause pain under the fingernail and forearm? I've heard of the tingling and burning, I'm not feeling either but I'm feeling numbness under the fingernail and forearm? I did use the bathroom and with the same hand I pulled up my zipper and then in seconds used the underneath of my fingernail very firmly to secure it without washing my hands, very paranoid I spread the virus to my zipper then to the underneath of my fingernail.

I scratched it using my fingernails and i noticed the pimple rash had a blood (red but the blood did not went outside the body) and i checked the fingernail that i used there is no visible blood also...
