Avatar n tn I am a 49 year old male, I have been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks for about 12 years now, sometimes its better sometimes worse. The only medicines I use are ativan and zopiclone. I have the under the tongue 1 mg ativans that use in the evening, mostly so I can try to get to sleep. On occasion I will use a zopiclone instead of the ativan to get sleep.
5093508 tn?1390547531 Advice on Mixing Tramadol. Zopiclone and Trazodone. I didn't actually post a question, but rather, I replied posted a comment in response to this, on April 7th. I no longer need any advice on this, as I'm off Tramadol now and I'm weaning off Zopiclone. I wasn't on Trazodone, but I am still on 3 other Anti-deps. Since stopping Tramadol, I no longer have any anxiety issues, thank God! I am also weaning off Valium.
5093508 tn?1390547531 Maybe works a few minutes faster, but also wears off faster. No point. I'm off both valium & zopiclone. Stopped ct as I ran out of valium & refused to substitute zopiclone (ambien, I think, tho not sure now, after all). Sleep med anyway. Stopped it ct & threw the rest out. I'd had enough of prolonged wdl feelings. 6 sleepless nights & it was all over. So, had to stop both valium & zop ct. Best thing I ever did! Felt wonderful after that & have been great ever since.
939964 tn?1288020624 I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, acid reflux, diverticulosis, diabetes and fibromyalgia syndrome. Had FMS for a very long time, probably most of my adult life. Diagnosed with hypothyroid condition about 12 years ago, and with diabetes was about 3 years ago. I am on Armour Thyroid, 2 gr. per day; Aciphex 1 a day, both in the morning; then I take Metformin at night, started with 1, then 2, and now am being bumped to 3 a day. I have a very difficult time sleeping through the night.
216046 tn?1193947004 I was just prescribed Lyrica for fibromyalgia pain and take 100mgs of methadone daily for pain as well. Hopefully i can come off the methadone soon. My question is, has anyone heard of lyrica causing withdrawal symptoms when taken w/methadone? I was given Tramadol(Ultram) w/ methadone and thought I was going to die with the interaction it caused!!!
Avatar f tn I've been super-tired and unable to concentrate lately, but I thought that might have been a symptom of my fibromyalgia. I was always able to get to sleep and rest for at least 7 hours...until now.) Is there anything out there that could help me? Melatonin, maybe? Or a special technique? Has anyone else ever had these symptoms (so I know I'm not alone and have a rare special disease that might end up killing me?
Avatar n tn to name a few Keep in mind that fibromyalgia, CFS, MS and lymes disease also have similar symptoms. Fibromyalgia DOES NOT cause an inflammatory response. Although you can have fibromyalgia along with other autoimmune disorders. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn He has ruled out anything sinister for the time being and given me some zopiclone sleeping pills. I cannot say whether they are working or not, I have tried it for only two nights and they taste awful. I have not noticed myself tossing and turning but still feel the same. I will give it until the end of the weekend to see if they are doing anything. I mentioned viral but he said i am not showing any signs of fever or viral infection apart from muscle weakness and fatigue.
1207048 tn?1282177904 Hi Jess, I live in constant chronic pain, mostly from spasticity/fibromyalgia and rarely have a day I can say is comfortable. But after a few years of this, I have managed to manage it with the help of a good pain doc. I hate medication as it all seems to trash my digestive system but that I can manage too. I have given in and now take a cocktail of the following to keep sane. Gabapentin 300 mg 3 times a day for nerve pain Valium 2.
2188151 tn?1338146649 I did not want to admit, even to myself, that I AM GETTING WORSE! Is this arthritis, fibromyalgia, what? There are certain labels I never, ever wanted to carry, and "disabled" is one of them....however, I am now going to the VA and applying for this. Also SS but haven't started any of this yet, because I'm a bit overwhelmed right now... I knew that there was a possibillity that I would always have pain, but never expected this. I remain clear of the virus, thank God.
Avatar m tn i began having burning sensations in knees and thighs 9 months ago after having a D and C. i started taking 7.5 mg of zopiclone and it worked well for two months then i had a hysterectomy and after that the insomnia got real bad. I am now having to take Restoril during the day so that i dont get headaches and taking 15 mg of zopiclone per night also. Otherwise i cant sleep. I can't even take a nap, i cant fall asleep on my own anymore.
Avatar f tn The thing is that I've felt dead tired, not like with my Narco that I could fall asleep any moment, I feel like I can't move. I also have Fibromyalgia. Now what I'm wondering is with all of these mixed together if I'm just bound to have to fight to live harder. Certainly makes a person frustrated at times, but I'm not dying. What my whole point is, go in to the doctor, tell them what's going on.
565203 tn?1217497088 Hi All, It's been a long time since I posted here... my horrible PVC's have waxed & waned, over the past 8 years, but they are now back with a vengeance. It's been MONTHS. This forum was a Godsend to me years ago when I first started suffering these awful skipped beats... I'm hoping to see some familiar names & also meet some new friends. I haven't been evaluated re: my heart for probably 7 years now. I have tried to learn to live with this BS.. but admit, I've NEVER gotten used to it.
198154 tn?1337790865 Ambien(Zolpidem) Lunesta(Eszopiclone) Sonata(Zaleplon) Imovane(Zopiclone) Also to be avoided are muscle relaxants like Soma and flexeril. they are not only addictive, but they will make you behave like a monkey and then not remember it later. If you're actively abusing opiates AND taking Benzos/hypnotics/muscle relaxants, then you are basically getting down on your hands and knees and begging for an overdose.
Avatar n tn Majority for depression, psychosis and / or risk of harm to self or others. ...Possibly related or possibly completely not include fibromyalgia and arthritic like pain, overwhelming bouts of fatigue, either sleeping too much or too little and a host of stress related stuff like eczema, IBS and migraine. Also polycystic ovaries which perhaps hormonal link? I now take depakote, venlafaxine, pain meds, and use chlorpromazine, diazepam and zopiclone as needed.
Avatar n tn I was taking it for fibromyalgia pain management, but I am trying to do more natural solutions now and talked to my doctor about eliminating the effexor and trying other options (including increasing my exercise to every day, anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, 30 minutes), making sure I get at least 15 minutes in the sunshine or outside even if overcast, so my serotonin levels stay high, journaling, etc.
Avatar m tn finally the docs gave me zopiclone (sleeping meds) and it worked i was so relieved that i could finally sleep in peace, i only had them for a week but i find that i fall asleep within the hour or two now and dont wake up (w/o the sleeping pills.) i still have shortness of breathe not as bad, well actually today i had a hard time with it but it hasnt been that bad since the paxil i believe is starting to kick in.
26471 tn?1211940121 One was on Olanzapine ...which is famous for causing high blood sugar and the other one was on Zopiclone. And to top it off, when taken together, Actos causes the levels of Zopiclone to go up. They used non-responders who were probably interferon resistant, they didn't use the best insulin sensitizer and they allowed patients to take meds that could increase their blood sugar (therefore increasing the insulin resistance).
Avatar f tn I suffered with painful joints all over my body which took hospitals 2 years to diagnose as Fibromyalgia. At the time I was still working full time and running a home with a family. In the end my body gave up, and I collapsed with total fatigue, followed by shingles and then anxiety and depression. The dreaming started at around the same time. Prescribed Effexor to control panic attacks which helped greatly, still taking them even now and probably will have to for ever.
