Avatar m tn It is constant for the most part. I can tell you the day it hit was Dec 12 2010. I have had my gall bladder checked, upper-lower GI., hidascan, mri, catscan, ultra-sound and xrays taken. My appendix was removed about 7 years ago. The pain in my side sometimes begins a trickle effect that tickles my skin or causes me to be sensitive to having my clothing or bed covers touch the surface of my skin.
Avatar m tn Well, after this was all diagnosed and started to go away he started having severe back pain, chest pain, both arms, a new on just arised both his knees. First they say Fibromyalgia so, they are doing a whole bunch of blood tests to figure this out or to "rule out other possiblities". Well we are still awaiting the results of all the blood tests and we went to the doctor just last night. He said it might be somthing to do with his nerve endings so, they gave him neurontin 300mg.
1551275 tn?1295372703 ) My surgery was on September 8, 2010 and I was non-weight bearing from September 11, 2010 until October 22, 2010. Then is was PARTIAL weight bearing UNTIL November 22, 2010 and FINALLY I could put FULL weight beginning then!! With ALL of that going on, there was STILL NO pain from the ORIGINAL surgery!! Everything that happened to me was from complications from the Osteoporosis. :{ Keep in mind that I WILL have to have my RIGHT HIP replaced in from 3 to 5 years.
Avatar n tn Will I ever go a day without pain with pain management. So far since Jan 2010 I've had 40 shots and still so much pain. Tried to go off my pain meds. Still in so much pain any suggestions.
Avatar f tn Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Not been on the forum in a while. Couple of updates are that my ANA was recently slightly raised and speckled and I'm having it repeated in 2 months or so, and i've been seeing a chiropractor (3 sessions so far) and he has found what he thinks is a trapped nerve leading to my right foot, possibly also the cause of my groin, bum and back of thigh pain. Also, he has picked up on my shallow breathing and gave me some breathing exercises which I'm practicing.
Avatar n tn Just wondering if you had any updates. Mine is still there everyday in some form but not as bad when not sitting all day. Mostly everything is on the left side. I feel the burning piching feelings mostly in the genital region but also burning in left sid of buttocks, legs, arm, and face. If you have any updates let me know. I'm almost thing I had some virus or bacteria at one point when it started last Oct and it left me with some type of nerve damage.
Avatar n tn I have had right side facial pain, deep ear pain, neck and shoulder pain, and eye drooping, numbness and tingling in hands and feet, blurred vision that has progressively worsened over the course of 3 years and been told I have TMJ and migraines from TMJ. I have taken all kinds of antiinflammatories, migraines meds, etc. I have been to several doctors, emt, dentists, oral surgeons, chiropractor, etc.
Avatar n tn i had my tubes clamped in February 2007, have always been very precise on my menstrual and now 2010 February i did not have my period for that month and still have not had it. i have taken six pregnancy test all have came out negative but i have been extremely tired lately, i get these craving every night around the same time and i have gained a few pounds after working so hard to lose some weight.
Avatar f tn FDA Hepatitis Update - Tyzeka (telbivudine) labeling updates re: use with pegylated interferon alfa-2a On December 23, 2011, the Food and Drug Administration approved revisions to the product labeling for Tyzeka (telbivudine) to include a contraindication regarding the use of Tyzeka with Pegasys (pegylated interferon alfa-2a) due to increase risk and severity of peripheral neuropathy. The Medication Guide was also revised accordingly.

1448748 tn?1312959808 Ok.. so I have been suffering from severe pain Since October of 2010. I started going to the ER to treat the joint pain and severe headaches that felt like my hips and back were being crushed. I was prescribed percocet and muscle relaxers 5mg and 15 at a time. I always had to take two to make them do anything and when I ran out I went again to the ER... Then I had to go to my primary care because I thought it would have gone away and thought maybe I had pulled something..
Avatar f tn After reading a few threads, this is something I've been suffering with since Oct 2001 and no doctor has been able to give me an answer. This is the cliff notes version. I've seen THREE endocrinologists (going on 4), an Immunologist, ENT (who pointed towards the thyroid more than once), Allergist, a dentist specializing in TMJ and even a chiropractor which felt like it was irritating my neck with adjustments. It started with a choking feeling in my neck.
Avatar f tn The ones which ARE tried and tested and prescribed by lyme experts - by which I mean actual MD type doctors full-time-specialied in lyme, who happen to also have studied herbs, rather than herbalists who happen to be dabbling in lyme disease - are the following protocols Cowden protocol (most famous and also most expensive) Augsburg protocol (well known in Europe and presented at Ilads 2010 (it's explained on the ILADS DVD - as far as I know it's not really used outside Europe) Buhner protoc
Avatar m tn By way of contrast, until end of 2010 I used to compete in cycle endurance events. I came 3rd in the UK's longest mountain bike race (7 day event through mountains) and completed in an 8 day race across Germany through the Bavarian mountains. I also used to love cross country running and would train with a triathlon club at their swimming sessions. Until last year I had a body that was pretty much up to any sporting challenge, including some pretty extreme endurance sports.
Avatar n tn They came up with nothing. They put me on medication for Fibromyalgia which helps a bit. I have such a sharp pain in my neck that is there 24 seven. I have difficultly sleeping and I am unable to work. It has affected my eye site, shoulder's, tail bone and other joints in my body. I did see a chiropractor but, in my opinion I felt worse. Maybe the gentlemen who saw a chiropractor in New York was different and if he is please forward details.....I had MRI's, CT no MS.
Avatar f tn thought of the worse like MS, fibromyalgia, or even Cancer of some kind. I saw another NP on 3/3/2011. She recommended I increase my Vit D to 4000IU daily for a month and see if it helps. She assured me symptoms really don't point to direct MS. We'll see. I'll keep you all posted. By the way, I'm a 29 year-old mom of 2 kids. One age 3 and one 8 months old. I'm from Wisconsin.
1216899 tn?1288573925 org/posts/recovery-after-vitamin-D-deficiency/Updates/show/1488373 for a list of many people's updates including my own. Studies show it can take many months at being in levels that are normal before patient's symptoms disappear. I have to sadly say that only symptom that has not improved is my off balance, but I have only been in the normal range since Feb 2011 and that was after taking supplements for over a year.
Avatar n tn WOW!! Im amazed how many people experience the same problem as me. I thought something was really happening to me. My wet sensations happens in the most random places. But, mostly on my leg. It just annoys me when im at work and I get the sensation. Any news updates on this, please post.
Avatar n tn I later developed migraines and joint pain, and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. My symptoms were consistent with Lyme Disease, and the Western Blot test showed an active infection. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss further.
Avatar n tn I did 72 weeks of higher doses throughout (SVR as of Dec. 2010). My post tx issues mirror Trish's almost to a "T" with thyroid issues and significant joint/muscle issues that I didn't have previously. They certainly don't incapacitate me, but there is a noticeable (and some days -profound) change in flexibility. I understood that many things could crop up during and after tx - autoimmune issues, vision problems and such, but was unprepared for the pain issues.
555358 tn?1292535661 I have since been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and several other disorders. Lately, I have had a lot of headaches and other symptoms return with a vengeance. I have been trying to research the effects of Chiari and decompression surgery years later, but have not seen much information. I haven't seen anyone that is 9 1/2 years post-op like me. Has anyone found information on what we can expect years down the road? Has anyone had the surgery before 1999? If so, how do you feel now?
Avatar n tn (well maybe not) but some of the sides are worse than when I was on it. My hep doc told me to be tested for fibromyalgia but my PCP said not to worry about it. Bull! when I hurt more now than before it is time to do something. I truly hope that your sides ease up soon.

Avatar n tn Any updates? I have the same thing for the past 5 years. originally started only after drinking alcohol and only one per day..meaning headache, not drink ;-) , and since stopping drinking entirely for the past 18 months I get them incessantly. What I have figured - 1.5 hours after eating. If I don't eat, I don't get them. Have tracked my blood sugar with a meter - my doc says no correlation. I have been tracking my food intake and while limited - if I do no gluten, it seems fine.
Avatar n tn And, now she has been getting stiff joints and pain like fibromyalgia. She says it's not anxiety, which is what some of the doctors are pointing to. As she is single and really has no stress, other than a busy job. She did have a breast biopsy about the same time she had the back strain, but that was benign. Any further suggestions or findings out there?
Avatar f tn I have been in multiple car accidents but only ended up with bulging discs, whipflash, and spranged something. I was diagnosed with having Fibromyalgia in 2002. I just read in some of my previous doctors notes from 1999 that I had rhematoid arthritis. My blood work came back and my doctor said she thinks I have anemia. I have a doctor's appt. with a Rheumatologist 5/1/08. Too long of a wait. I have Straight Medicaid only.
