I had only once tested my hbsag quantity since my diagnosis two years ago. The test was done a few weeks ago and came out about 17000iu/ml. In other words quite high, that should warrant treatment immediately, in my opinion, though my dumb doctors won't put me on treatment yet. But I'm going to fight them and insist that I need antiviral treatment.

It is a Rheumatologist who you must see for a fibromyalgia diagnosis and if positive,consequent treatment follows, prescribed normally by the Rheumatologist.

I have been told I have chronic fatigue by Harbor View Medical Center Chronic Fatigue Clinic in Seattle Wa. I have since aquired clinical deppression as a result of the extreme fatigue. ve seen more posts lately of those who have very similar symptoms after completion of treatment and most often the end diagnosis is fibromyalgia. It is a chronic disorder and there is really no cure.
At this time, there is no "cure" for fibromyalgia - one main reason being is they have not determined exactly what causes fibromyalgia. There are many thoughts and ideas on it, however, nothing has been scientifically proven/discovered. There also are no specific blood tests, scans, etc., for diagnosing fibromyalgia = there ARE certain critieria that need to be met before a true fibro diagnosis.

I'd guess they cannot do surgery because of that nerve. But radiation will damage everything around anyway. Did anyone mention if gamma knife is appropriate for you?

I'm a 45yr. old female with Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I also have had a total hysterectomy in 1991. I take premarin for hormone replacement. Over the last 5 years or so I have noticed that the "peach fuzz" on my face, (blonde) was getting a little thicker. My hair was really short and my hairstylist at the time took clippers and shaved around the sides of my jawline near my ear lobe. I freaked out of course. He said it would not make it grow in faster.
