Avatar m tn Hi everyone! I am a 25 year old female. I am consulting this website in the hopes that someone will be able to help me out. I've had this constant pain on my lower rib area (where the floating ribs are) for over 3 years. The pain is localized to the side, and produces discomfort regardless of whether I'm moving or at rest. The pain is more intense pain when I put pressure on the area. I also have this sensation of heat and acidity around the area and often feel nauseated and fatigued.

Avatar n tn I don't have any symptoms yet, except for my period being early once in a while. I am 44 years old, and have gone, in 2 weeks, from having 44 year old skin to skin of a 60 year old. Could someone please help? I'm very distressed.
Avatar m tn I have also other symptoms like when i wake up in the morning, i can taste something sour in my mouth. I think its the stomach acid. I really need help but no docs seem to be able to help me. I have seen more than 3 doctors in the past two weeks.
Avatar f tn As I noted in posting to the tingling tongue thread, I did have problems with a very slight lisp in conjunction with tongue tingling. A doctor commented on it, actually. It went away after a few weeks, but the tingling lasted much longer that round. All very strange!
333612 tn?1302886990 Any other Fibromyalgia symptoms that mimic WD's and don't go away? Let me know. I'm trying to get the WD symptoms worked out so any other medical problems can be addressed.
Avatar m tn How about an iodine 'capture, attract' test (that's what it's called in Spanish where I live) I can't find a lab which does it.. I see the liver knocks an iodine molecule off of T4 to make it T3?
572651 tn?1531002957 I've traveled abroad most of my life and have a smattering of multiple languages so common every day phrases I may blurt out in American English, British English, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese or Korean. So if my words are jumbled I have a good explanation. What is really happening and a concern for me is I just go blank. I can't think or say any word. Even if I think it my voice doesn't coordinate with my brain to say the word. Sometimes I can't even think of the word.
880900 tn?1467273741 I am terrified that I will suffer the same withdrawal symptoms as I experienced before my surgery in Canada. How should I manage this change? Can I substitute the Temgesic for one of my Oxy doses each day, thereby using half the Oxy I usually would? Or would you taper off the Oxy altogether, first, before taking the first dose of Temgesic? I'm asking you this because I have trouble explaining my questrion in Spanish, and haven\t got any acquaintences who have attempted to do this.
748543 tn?1463449675 TMJ' as it is wrongly called by many) is easy to treat and self-manage or that it may all be in the patient's mind. The sources in the article stated that, "TMJ problems were originally thought to be caused by dental Malocclusion but that this was an infrequent cause of the problem". The American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), an organization of some 40,000 of the nation's leading dentist, recognizes the relationship between maloclussion and headaches.
378497 tn?1232147185 Bio, same here about the Lhermitte's--I've had to suspect they don't know whether to believe me about that and other nonvisible symptoms. In fact, the first neuro I saw kept referring, with cheerful smiles and head-shaking, to my "amazing" and "almost unbelievable" story--I think, in retrospect, that maybe he was probing to see how I'd react to that little hint.
Avatar n tn I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2008 I have all pressure points. I am in so much pain constantly. The Doctor's have tried all the medicine they could and now I live with pain because the only next step there is, is to take morphine. I won't take that because it makes me think of death. I live in NH, yes NH where it is cold and still is in the month of April, we just had snow. haha In 3 years all the children will be out of high school and off to college.
Avatar n tn The thing is this is not unlike how I've been feeling for the past 2 years when my (mis)dx was fibromyalgia so the symptoms were not foreign at all. I had started to feel better after I stopped using pain meds in Sept when I found out I had Hep C(guess my liver was just toxic along with my body trying to kill the virus.) So I had a few weeks of feeling better. Will see how it goes over the long haul.
880900 tn?1467273741 I'm asking you this because I have trouble explaining my questrion in Spanish, and haven\t got any acquaintences who have attempted to do this. Sorry this was so long. Any suggestions you may have would be most appreciated. I'm really desparate because of the language barrier down here. Thanks so much!
Avatar n tn BTW, Annie, I have also written a letter to the neuro that hinted quite broadly, not only that I was hystercial, but that I was feigning symptoms in order to obtain invasive medical procedures. However, my "nastygram" is only three pages long - representing 2 years of failure on his part. At 7 1/2 pages for 13 years, I think you have shown remarkable restraint! We are all here for a reason, and if anyone doesn't like what they read here, they are welcome to stop reading leave.
Avatar n tn * Carpal tunnel syndrome can begin with a tingling or numbness in the fingers. Adjust your workspace and consult a doctor if the symptoms do not decrease. * Lyme Disease can cause sharp pains shooting down the arms and/or legs. * I would think it would mean a pinched nerve.Or, your body can be lacking some mineral...maybe your dehydrated....
Avatar n tn They seem to think it's up to me if I want to pursue this any further. I live in a fairly small town, so I don't have 100% faith in the doctors. Any ideas from a big city diagnosis? I feel like it's spreading and I'm starting to notice the ache worse. I also have been bruising more than before and I feel exhausted all the time (but that might be due to my two small children!
Avatar n tn htm I don't think that the Spanish study's results have been duplicated, interestingly, I found this in an article: "Efficacy of treatment in hep C relative to the presence of fibrosis or cirrhosis o earlier studies suggested cirrhotic patients should not be treated because of the low response rate o recent studies suggest that compensated cirrhosis is not a contraindication o sustained response rates are not statistically different between non-fibrotics, fibrotics and cirrhotics as measur
356518 tn?1322267242 I've lived with chronic pain issues for about 15 years now. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, lupus, severe arthritis in EVERY joint/area of my body. I also suffer from pretty severe asthma. I'm 47 and have already had one shoulder replaced and am in need of having both of my knees done in the next couple of years. Most recently I've been dealing with a back/hip problem that as of right now, my ortho has diagnosed as a bulging disc/trapped/pinched nerve.
Avatar m tn I am Marta from Barcelona, Spain. I am so glad to see I am not alone. There are not many webs with info in Spanish, but luckily I can also speak English :-) I have been suffering from cardiophobia and panic attacks for a long time now. I think it all has more to do with our own inner insecurities (about how fragile is life and our fear to lose the ones we love or the life we live) than with anything wrong in our hearts.
Avatar f tn Do you have any symptoms in the area of the implants? Do you notice your symptoms are worse after any kind of activity?
