Common Questions and Answers about Fibromyalgia symptoms eyesight

10059661 tn?1407568770 I have all the pain pressure points and patches of hypersensitive, burning skin of fibromyalgia but some of the other symptoms could be either/or. Muscle weakness, tiredness, sleep problems, diarrhea, and foggy brain. A couple of months ago I noticed my legs getting weaker. And they would shake when I tried to get up from a sitting or squatting position. Then I started to hurt all over, my appetite disappeared, and I couldn't sleep.
1852058 tn?1320162300 Over the years, I kept increasing it which cured most of my symptoms. There is a new fibromyalgia med called Savella which I read praise after praise on another website. Also anti-depressants can serve as pain killers. I have severe migraines, which my headache specialist said to raise my current anti-depressant Effexor even more to treat the migraines. Due to one side effect from the Effexor, I said no. He then suggested Savella which I am going to switch to.
Avatar f tn For years I had the same symptoms as you (along with other symptoms). I thought they were from a car accident. My doctor said it was Fibro. I didn't like the answers I was getting so I kept looking. Turns out I have very low cortisol (called Adrenal Insufficiency). I'm still undergoing my diagnosis as well as treatment, so I don't know the whole scope of my issues. While the doctors are still working on the fatigue, etc.., the pain is gone.
Avatar n tn I have known diabetics who have had neuropathy symptoms and even started losing their eyesight but were able to recover both sensation and sight with good control and care. Please don't think you can't get better, and try to get to a specialist.
143746 tn?1301278422 Overall, though, I am wondering can POTS cause all of these symptoms, or does it sound like I have something like Fibromyalgia or IBS/IBD with comorbid POTS? I have had these symptoms since early January 2011 and they are taking a toll on my ability to function. Please help!
1550253 tn?1359052269 comes and goes, but I experience it every day) --constant dizziness, every minute of every day --joint pain --all-over body pain --muscle pain --tinnitus and sensitivity to sounds --vision issues (eyesight dimming, pain behind eyes, floaters in my eyesight, blurry vision, sensitivity to light) --head pain/pressure (tension headaches and migraines occasionally, but just a general allover head pain, and sharp pains in my left side) --tension in neck/head/shoulder/arm/back...
975514 tn?1325001538 I feel so bad for my children because they can hardly ever have their fully capable mom around due to this stupid disease. I have three children. I have looked up the symptoms of fibromyalgia and have realized that I have about 90-95% of the symptoms and still feel that I have to be this supermom because my kids and husband deserve it. I have no one else to talk to about this except for my sister who also has fibromyalgia. She is the only one who truly knows what pain I am going through.
Avatar f tn Magnesium deficiency symptoms are numerous but from your list of symptoms includes wide spread pain (my my doctor thought I had fibromyalgia), ear ringing, migranes, blurry vision, wheezing, dizziness, fluid retention, fatigue (although fatigue and fluid retention are symptom of insulin resistance/pre diabetes as well) to name a few symptoms. Your kidneys might not be too healthy either. Just to add, my mother currently has severe oedema in her ankles due to untreated hypothyroidism.
Avatar n tn For about a month now I've been having some strange eye symptoms. It started with some pretty sharp pain behind the right eye. This pain lasted for 3 days. The pain subsided for a couple days and then I started getting pain behind both eyes. From then on I've been getting headaches. Some other symptoms that have occured are: double-vision (only when I look down), blurred vision, a bit of dizziness and balance issues.
Avatar f tn Some neurologic causes include multiple sclerosis (you would likely have other neurologic signs and symptoms), tumors (you would likely be having additional symptoms though that are not included in your description), and epilepsy. Regarding epilepsy, while the symptoms you are having could potentially be related to epilepsy, the type of epilepsy related to myoclonic jerks start in early adolescence.
Avatar n tn My symptoms started five years ago, tingling in lower legs and occassionally arms/hands and feeling tired. Initial neurological tests were normal. I now have constant tingling and painful burning in my lower legs and feet, tightness in my lower legs and my feet are tender and sore to stand on. The outside toes on my right foot spread out, particularly my small toe. My muscles tire so easily and my fingers, which are steady when held still, tremble when moving them.
1216899 tn?1288573925 With all the sites out there that have info on Vitamin D, their just doesn't seem to be one that has all the symptoms that can accompany vitamin d deficiency. I'm going to list my symptoms, so that others may have some insight, in layman's terms. I hope anyone else with the deficiency would also post theirs.

Avatar n tn I even did abdomen ultrasound and it came out normal. Since diagnosis, I have had other symptoms such as headache which usually is at back of my head or on top of my head. Also, I have some sort of like motion sickness with balance problem. Does anyone out there have the same symptoms as I do? The meds never made me feel good. The only thing it get rid of is my heart palp. Another thing, when you have thyroid problem, will it mess up with the CBC testing.
5100586 tn?1363648354 I have a question regarding lyrica withdrawal symptoms ................ I am currently suffering with this and am on day 38 with no end in sight from these godawful symptoms ............... in fact, it has gotten worse in the last 48 hrs, which is so depressing, as I thought I would improve as I distanced myself from the drug ...
268911 tn?1213748381 The thing is, the symptoms get worse over time. And the symptoms are extremely variable between one person and another. That is one reason it is so slow to be diagnosed here. Some people develop nueropathy, others develop diabetes, and then there is thyroiditis, lupus, RA, etc.. So, say I was celiac but also developing RA or diabetes as related condition, my symptoms could be related to one of those conditions, and also celiac GI tract symptoms.

1135130 tn?1260503231 It has happened when I was showering (I take hot showers because they're the only thing that will warm me up), and my eyesight would turn black and my hearing completely stopped. My head started to spin and I would "fall" over, but I would catch myself before I fell.. I would hobble out of the bathroom and lay on my bed, and this incredible feeling of nausea would take over.
173930 tn?1196341998 Infected 37 years and I feel really very good. Do you think it stands to reason that those with few symptoms going in are more likely to come out better than those with many? It very well be that those with problems have more room for improvment.
Avatar n tn No tear in the retina. Epilepsy hasnt ever come up. symptoms are always described as strange. Any thoughts would be much appreciated, or if anybody has similar symptoms. Additional information about me - my posture (neck) is a little hunched, could this be causing some sort of tension that causes the above? I use the computer a lot. never had a serious illness. have smoked marijuana before. not a lot though.
Avatar f tn Back pain, neck pain, fatigue, lack of sleep, sometimes I have excessive thirst, eye pain, bad eyesight, see diffrent colors sometimes, and I'm hungry a lot. My step dad had Acoustic Nuermoa, and that happens to like 1 in 100,000 people or something like that, so I'm positive I don't have it. There is no way my family is that unlucky. I doubt I have any brain tumors, as a matter of fact. Fibromyalgia runs in my family, but I do not think head aches and eye problems are a symptom of this.
Avatar f tn My tongue hurts and occasionally my eyesight is blurred. I have tingling in my arms and legs, but this is nothing new. I have a lot of problems with my spine. Had a cervical fusion 2 years ago and more pain in my neck now. I have had several mris of the brain and a lumbar puncture to check for ms. All came back normal. I would think it is all coming from my spinal problems, except for the teeth, tongue, and eye thing.
Avatar f tn And yet, you have symptoms. I'm confused then. How can you have symptoms if you're in remission (or did I get this wrong?) Also, saw your pictures, may I compliment you on your gorgeous embroidery; you have a remarkable talent!
Avatar f tn Thank you for answering. I am 55 years old. No history of diabetes or hypertension. I have had numerous blood tests, and MRI to rule out MS, lupus, diabetes. Everything came back O.K., except Rheumatoid Arthritis showed up low to moderate level.
Avatar m tn -Joint pain in all of my joints. -Excessive cracking and popping in my joints -Muscle spasms -Headaches/Migraines -Insomnia I also have all over body pain. The pain in my hips gets so bad that on certain days I can not walk at all.I spent a week last year not being able to move or be touched without extreme pain. Avatar f tn I am a 41 year old female who has been experiencing numerous MS/neurological symptoms since May 2007. I have been seeing a neurologist as I have a family history of MS - my grandfather had it. I have had 3 MRIs (brain 8/07, cervical 9/07 & repeat of brain on 10/08) that were all clear. As far as my symptoms go, they are not constant. They occur intermittently and randomly throughout the day.
Avatar f tn He is ordering an MRI of the upper spine and a CT Angiogram of the chest I think to rule out Horners Syndrome. My eyesight went from -1.25 and-.75 to -2.25 and -2.00. My eyesight does seem blurry and occasion double vision. I am growing concerned as I have almost fallen, my son caught me.I am very dizzy and nauseated. My head hurts all the time. I am also having leg cramps. There is pressure behind my eyes. I am extremely tired and seem to sleep all the time now.
