4186651 tn?1357830957 This is so new to me. Is is part of Chiari symptoms to come and go? I almost feel back to my old self. Just nauseous and very little dizziness from day to day with all the body aches. I'm petrified to have another migraine though which I get frequently!!!
Avatar f tn Can neuropathy come and go with severe attacks of stabbing pain. Been told by a neuro Dr that what made me think I had neuropathy she has never diagnosed me with it and neuropathy cannot come and go. My internal med Dr has had me on Lyrica for a year and it helps allot with the shooting burning stabbing pains at night. But sometimes it gets real bad.

Avatar f tn the only thing consistent these last few days is frequent urination and the heartburn and a little breast pain... is this usual for symptoms to come and go... I know it gets asked a lot but I'm just worried it'll like... disappear... lol...

Avatar n tn Just wondering if cyst/Ov Ca symptoms come and go over time or do they, once they start, progressively get worse? I have been having some vague symptoms - such as a bit of indigestion, needing to use toilet more often, etc. Have been to 2 different Dr's who've done quite a lot of pressing on my tummy, etc and have both suggested that if I had a large enough cyst to be pressing on bladder, etc they'd be able to feel something (and they can't).
Avatar m tn Since then I have had some other symptoms that come and go quickly. My question is that possible with MS. for example I will feel a slight amount of puffyness bellow my left eye and have some vision problems. it will last 30 minutes or so, then go away completly. I had evening muscle twitching for about a week. The twitching would happen anywhere in my body and last just a few second. it was not accompanied my weakness.
Avatar n tn t travel around or move from side to side, the numb area or areas come and go in that same area over and over, they are also usually on one side (L or R). The reason behind this is the lesions in the brain or spine, and the damaged signal to that area. There are many MS mimics that are not neurological, and well worth investigating. Cheers.......
Avatar f tn Hey thickmadam!!!!!!! :) :) Welcome to the group. :) Fibromyalgia is one of those conditions that we don't know what exactly causes it. There are certain things that can trigger it like stress, weather, diet, and even a prior accident can cause symptoms. It is diagnosed with testing that rules out other conditions. Basically if they can't find anything else wrong and you still have symptoms, then they call it Fibromyalgia.
1454858 tn?1306784378 re only six weeks, it may pick up more in the next couple weeks, and you may be lucky enough to not have to go through too many of the not so fun symptoms. With my first my symptoms were on and off, and with this one I had to keep reminding myself that I'm pregnant because I didn't have any really...
Avatar f tn I still have all the pain and its so new to me. Can anyone tell me if this is Fibromyalgia. Does this come on slowly???? or can suddenly occur. PLEASE!

Avatar f tn Iv been taking levothyroxine and all symptoms went away for a couple of months, now the weakness in my thumb is back as it numbness and pins and needles. Could this be als or something? Do symptoms come and go or is this just thyroid issues. Please some who KNOWS facts PLEASE help. I'm so worried. O don't necessarily want to know als symptoms because I will then get them, I just want to know if it could be that?
368461 tn?1291515587 so glad everyone shared -- it's encouraging to hear others are in the same boat. Tuesday night I could not fall asleep (which was weird, because I have been so tired) -- so I went back to get my levels checked and they came back great. But I was nervous b/c my boobs did not hurt that day and I was not so tired. I guess the lesson here is everything comes and goes. Funny about the burping, I am finding myself burping too - had no idea it was related.
Avatar f tn Just wanted to add that what you need is a good thyroid doctor, by which I mean one that will treat you clinically, for symptoms, by testing and adjusting Free T3 and Free T4 as necessary to relieve symptoms, without being constrained by resultant TSH levels. Symptom relief should be all important, not just test results. You can get some good insight into clinical treatment from this link to a letter written by a good thyroid doctor for patients that he consults with from a distance.
Avatar n tn I am a 22 year old female and after doing a bit of research it sounds as though I have several symptoms that occur under fibromyalgia. I have had throughout my entire life a bizarre amount of muscle problems and pain. In recent times (last 5-6 months) I have had occasions where my body and skin hurts so much that even my shirt is hurting it. This isn't an everyday, or even every week, event but it has happened probably 5 or 6 time.
Avatar f tn For 15 years I have had terrible symptoms of hyperthyroidism (heart arrhythmias, racing and pounding heart and palpitations, anxiety disorders, heat intolerance, weight loss despite increased appetite). I have not seen an endocrinologist but once in the ER had my TSH checked and it was 1.5 which I know is normal so I didn't pursue it further. The funny thing is that my symptoms sometimes come and go.
Avatar f tn I've been experiencing some strange symptoms for the past 4-5 years, they come and go....sometimes it'll be 6 months without getting my symptoms and sometimes it'll just be 2 days. They last anywhere from a day to a few weeks. My doctor has done blood test after blood test and my tests always come back and I'm perfectly healthy.
1184051 tn?1264435308 /or RA and when I told him my symptoms he said they were all due to fibromyalgia. It really made me mad that he wouldn't take them seriously and didn't even want to treat me for fibro. I'm going to press my family doctor to start a treatment regimen.
