Two of those were wonderful, I have two sons. The point of my question is, air conditioning seems to magnify the pain of fibromyalgia, and arthritis. I work in a doctors office that it air condtioned, and we have central air in our home. Is it possible that the coldness is making my pain so much worse? There has also been a lot of change in the temperature, and it has rained frequently over the last few weeks.
I too have always suffered with severe breast pain with my Fibromyalgia. I find the pain worsens after wearing an unserwired bra all day. There are some comfort designed non wire bras out there, but depending on breast size, some people just need them regardless. Also the breast pain worsens around menstrual cycle, I know that's normal for most women as it was for me too at one time, but now when I'm menstrual it is extremely painful & beyond tender to touch.
A few days ago I noticed a hard bump behind one ear. For the last few weeks I have had abdominal pain, crampy and sometimes sharp(on my right side). I have fibromyalgia so I'm used to pain & sometimes it's hard for me to know when something's wrong but this feels different. I've never had a swollen lymph node behind my ear & I've never had this sharp kind of stabbing abdominal pain. I've also had a lot of nausea & loss of appetite.
Drs thought I had sarcoidosis byt CT Scan came back OK, just showing scarring in lungs and have to have another CT in 6 months, I have all of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia plus the GERD and severe pain in Chest, ribs and joints. I get alittle releif for maybe 1 to 3 days and the symptoms flare up again. My question is could GERD or Gallbladder problems cause all these different types of pain and aches?
I get this along with my fibromyalgia, but people without fibromyalgia can experience this also. It can go away on its own or your doctor may want to treat it with an anti-inflammatory medication. It could also just be your muscles in your chest tightening up - I also experience this and it goes along with fibro. Fibromyalgia is diagnosed based on having multiple tender points and performing a series of tests to rule out other conditions.

I also experience sharp and dull pains in my muscles every where in my body. Some times the pains feel so deep it's like there in my bones.
This pain, known as rest pain, occurs because the arteries of the leg can no longer deliver adequate blood flow to the feet, even at rest. Rest pain generally worsens when the legs are elevated, such as when lying in bed at night. Relief from this pain may occur only when the feet are dangled. Fibromyalgia is another cause of leg pain at night. Generally, though, there is pain involving other areas in addition to the leg.
Your pain is probably a result of your twisting, compressing or stretching a nerve in your back, while turning in your sleep, and will probably subside spontaneously in 24-48 hours. If your spine hurting does not resolve or worsens in the next day or two, you would be wise to have a chest X-ray done.
ve been told that this is just stiffness caused by fibromyalgia, however this tightness which I am reffering to is usually worse in the evenings - and it is my understanding that stiffness related to Fibromyalgia occurs in the AM.
This is just another "Just Wondering" question for anyone who might experience the same thing . . . . .
What can be done about the chronic Fibromyalgia pain when I am allergic to pain medicines or the pain relievers do not give relief.
My pain roams from shoulders, upper and lower arms, elbows, wrists, knees, neck. My pain worsens tremendously in the evenings, this evening pain is very distinct. Mornings are usually bad with a mild version of the previous nights pain. Morning pain lasts for a few hours and then sometimes (not always) gets better during the day. Around 4-5 PM things begin to get worse and then the evenings are spent applying TENS, heat, cold, whatever I can find to try to get some relief.
m sensitive to cold and heat makes the pain worse. An immunologist was going to diagnose me with Fibromyalgia but he said no because not much research was done on it, and my body reacted to severely to medication so he was scared to prescribe me anything else. For the past two months my fogginess had turned into a constant headache and heavy pressure, feels like my head is being squished and my eyes feel like they are being pushed out.
