The doctor didn't order me physical therapy after my surgery and made my bursitis worse!! (he was to lazy to call my insurance), he is not my doctor anymore!!

Avatar n tn I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I was wondering if I can have it in my stomach muscles. My pain is always there but sometimes goes away for a month and then comes back.Could this be part of the fibro?
1033336 tn?1252506131 The characteristic feature of Fibromyalgia is a muscle pain mostly in neck, back, thighs, and hips. There is presence of specific tender points in these areas that trigger the pain. Along with this there is morning stiffness in the muscles, brain fog, dizziness and other neurological symptoms. Since you are suffering from pain specifically located at the joints, and it started after the flu, the pains are related to the viral infection.

Avatar f tn It first started with a mild aching pain in my hips. It would be worse after working on my feet all day but wasn't unbearable or even really something I would complain about. It slowly got worse over the course of several months until I noticed that they always hurt to some degree, even when lying in bed. I could no longer lie on my side because it hurt so badly.
Avatar f tn I had so much pain that I could hardly crawl in the door yesterday. The pain was everywhere upper back, legs, hips, upper arms and neck. It seems like this condition happens when I have not much pain and try to get everything I need to do in a couple days and then the next day I cannot move. On a good day if I sit for more than 20-30 minutes I stiffen up and takes a while to move again at all. My knees joints are very painful.
Avatar f tn Although it was developed for depression, the low dose has actually been studied and approved for osteoarthritis, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy, post shingle pain, and musculoskeletal pain. Have you been to a Rheumatologist or at least had a work up for auto immune diseases??
Avatar n tn There are 18 points on body for tenderness in patients of this condition. Diagnosis criteria is that pain at 11 of the points may indicate fibromyalgia. The tenderness in these points is worse in the mornings and has been described as flu-like, burning, throbbing, aching, or stabbing. Please correlate your symptoms to the classic findings of Fibromyalgia. Although there is no cure for fibromyalgia, home treatment can relieve some of the symptoms.

Avatar m tn Hi, I am sure this question comes up alot. I have had muscle aches and tenderness for as long as I can remember mostly in my back and hips but I do get leg aches and pains as well sometimes. My regular doctor's have tested my gallbladder and tests are fine. I have to go in for a scope to check for ulcers.
