Avatar f tn I have numbing/tingling on arms, legs, feet and hands, mild pain, maybe two or three in a day. I sleep okey, because I am taking Pristig for depression, and also Lorasapan for Anxiety. I do have the shooting/stabbing pain on my legs, but is mild pain. I don't have fatigue, maybe because I am taking Vitamins, and also Ensure. I eat well. My hands sometimes they get hot. When the weather is cold, my symptoms seemed to dissapear. the temperature in my house has to be set 69 degrees.
Avatar m tn (a year ago when this started the pain shifted around in his chest but this does not happen any more) I've noticed his hands and feet are often cold and at the moment he gets dizzy and nauseous which only improves when he is lying down. We've been to the docs again today and he has agreed to do another endoscopy and he thinks the meds he is taking should improve the acid reflux and wants to investigate further.
Avatar n tn headache; dizziness, drowsiness, tired feeling; swelling in your hands or feet; constipation, upset stomach, bloating; dry mouth; sleep problems (insomnia); hot flashes, sweating; weight changes; or decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm. As you can see sweating is listed as a common side effect. Some side effects will subside as your system become accustomed to a new medication. I can't guess if that may be true with this medication or with your specific reaction.
Avatar f tn neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back, hips, chest, breast bone (especially to the sides of it), left arm, abdomen Muscles are tender when I touch them, especially arms and thighs Hypoglycemia Weight Gain I've had heart tests, stomach tests, blood tests. Nothing shows up. I'm getting very frustrated and discouraged! Does this sound like it could be fibromyalgia? My only "tender spots" that react for me are my elbows, hips and inner knees (not as painful as hips and elbows).
Avatar f tn I am living a whole different life because of te pain in my legs feet arms and hands, I pray we all get some relief....

I also have reflex/startle myoclonus and spinal myoclonus which seems to be the thing the doctors talk about and they tend to ignore my other symptoms.
1033336 tn?1252509731 I also have nerve damage and shooting pain and numbness in my legs. I take hydrocodone for the pain and am also on lyrica. The lyrica does help keep my legs from jerking uncontrollably but I now also have pain in my knees, hips, back, neck, shoulders. and jaw. My muscles are extremely tight all the time. I take flexoral 3 times a day but it doesn't seem to help. My doctor now thinks I have some type of myofacial disorder.
Avatar f tn I have tinging in feet most of the day and almost every night I wake up with tinging in my hands. Like their are asleep. I also feels like something in crawling in my head.{sometimes} . But I feels fine. Can there be something wrong {Please Help}.
Avatar f tn First off, I do have the regular kind of seasonal allergies, for which I am currently using Zyrtec and Nasonex. For many years I have had seasonal swelling of my hands and feet and joint/muscle pain up my legs to my knees, and up my arms to my elbows. It starts at the beginning of spring and ends with frost. I live in northern New England, so spring for me is April/May and frost happens in October. My doctor thinks it is fibromyalgia, but I wonder about that.
Avatar n tn Hi your problem sounds just like mine and I have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. I am 46 years old and have had this problem for 5 years or so. I also have joint pain and feel slightly "under the weather" but its the burning and prickling in the hands and feet and somewhat in the lower legs that are terrible. I used to be really active and go to the gym most days, now any exercise or hot weather brings the burning on. Do you notice it also gets worse at night?
Avatar n tn I have recently started taking 150 mg of Lyrica for nerve pain and Fibromyalgia. I can hardly believe it, but it is very helpful in relieving my nerve pain. The only problem is that my brain is effected by it. It has become very difficult to express myself verbally. I find myself searching for simple words. Is there something I can take along with Lyrica to help my foggy mind?
Avatar n tn For the last couple of years, on and off for months, I have had these spells of extreme fatigue, like I can only be awake for a couple hours straight without developing blurry vision, extreme headaches. Also, this is always accompanied by dull, achy pains in my hands, feet, ankles, and shoulders. It is a very strange feeling because it actually feels better to move, but being tired makes me not want to get up and move.
Avatar f tn Join a group where you can express and discharge your worries, anger, fears, and sadness. Keeping that inside yourself overloads yourself. Aspirin helps with pain in the hands and feet. Food: keep away from fake sugars, sodas, processed foods. Stay as unprocessed as possible with foods. Try eating tomatoes (blood cleanser) once a day for a week, and see what happens. Anti-depressants help with the moods, if not with the pain.
Avatar f tn I googled more the past day adding in the random pains and Fibromyalgia came up as having tingling limbs. In fact, I have many of the symptoms but was completely dismissing that because I don't have overall pain but then I found this "For some people with fibromyalgia, the pain comes and goes. The pain also seems to travel throughout the body." I suppose I'll ask my doctor who I go see to rule this out. As far as Rheumatoid arthritis don't inflammation tests look for that as well?
Avatar n tn very well though and has started acupuncture to treat the pain in my hands and feet. He says I am also suffering from FYBROMYALGIA (which I am not too sure about the truth behind that) and carpal tunnel syndrome. He has not even considered doing an MRI or any of the visual EEG testing. I am going to search for another doctor who may take my ailments more serious.

3795221 tn?1348163075 I have a constant migraine and back pain. My hands and feet are numb with bursts of electricity. The Rheumatologist prescribed Flexeril, Ambien and told me to go to a psychiatrist. I made an appointment with a psychiatrist a week ago and have since researched him online. Most reviews talked of how they were strong-armed into hospitalization and put on Suboxone, which seems to be his cure all for his pain clinic.
Avatar n tn For the past 5-6 weeks, I've been having numbness/tingling in my arms, hands and legs and feet. I've also had tingling in the face area.........mouth and tongue. My eyes sometimes feel itchy as sometimes my skin. I've had headaches and felt light-headed. Sometimes my face gets flushed and so do my arms, like I'm burning under my skin. Avatar n tn When I get hot and swelling in the feet and hands (with it being hard to walk on them) it's from chemical exposure (to something no one else can detect). Also,, if I overdue the exercise for a while after. I'm going to guess it's either something changed in your environment or something in your intake (vitamins, foods) unwittingly. I also remember getting a swelling and hard to walk problem when I started OPC (grape seed extract).

Avatar f tn Many individuals with other liver diseases do not suffer the pain seen in hepatitis C. And there is a high prevalence of fibromyalgia in hepatitis C patients; this is important for clinicians to appreciate, as the recognition of fibromyalgia in patient with hepatitis C will prevent assumptions of pain being due to liver disease—and perhaps allow for a more focused and correct treatment approach.
Avatar m tn I've read that fibromyalgia is known for the burning feeling especially of feet and hands. I imagine this is nerve pain so there is also something called erythmelagia. This is often in the feet though but can also show in hands but usually they are red too. It involves the sensory nerves. Here's some information on fibromyalgia to read over in the mean time and let me know what you think.
Avatar f tn After years of taking hydrocodone/soma and various other pills for chronic pain, I was finding I was still in pain and I just didn't want continue my life this way. I found Kundalini Yoga a year ago and it gave me the strength to realize I no longer want to put poison in my body and it is a low impact form of yoga that has worked wonders for me. I know the pain can drive you to think you'll just live on pain pills, it did me but those pills will eventually dull everything except your pain.

Avatar f tn You may also have neuropathy and we are in danger of losing our toes or feet. You need to inspect and protect your feet. I have no reflexes now in my legs or feet. It came on fast within the last few years. Now my feet feel like they are asleep and I have shooting pains in them. I can't walk at all or my ankles really swell up. I have both fibromyalgia and Dercum's. My grandparents came from Sweden and most of the research on Dercum's is being done in Sweden.
Avatar n tn I have been having problems with migraines for many years. In the last 6 months or so I have also been experiencing memory loss and problems with getting messages from my brain to my arms/hands and legs/feet. My neurologist ordered a MRI w & w/o contrast in Feb. and there was one lesion. The radiologist suggested it be done again in 3 months. I had it done again in May. This time there were at least 7 lesions, 4 on one side & 3 on the other.
1075109 tn?1281839291 My hips and tailbone, my knees and ankles and the underside of my feet. Driving even with an automatic car is painful and because of the dizzy spells that attack suddenly I am afraid to take long journeys and the pain afterwards is levelling. I know that I have to give up caffeine, sugar and carbonated drinks and of course smoking. But I want to know what can be done for me especially with Bipolar. It is like the 2 feed off each other.
