Pain — The primary symptom of fibromyalgia is widespread (diffuse), chronic, and persistent pain. The pain may be described as a deep muscular aching, soreness, stiffness, burning, or throbbing. Patients may also feel numbness, tingling, or unusual “crawling” sensations in the arms and legs.
I have the same things happen. Sometimes so severe in both arms, i'm unable to drive. Have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia? Was it in both arms- I have heard that the heart can also have this effect on the arms. Especially in women. Get checked, please. If nothing else- it'll ease your mind.
Take epson salt baths this helps with the baseball bat syndrome, lol, I take ibprofin and acetomenaphin alternating when its very bad, take gabopentin only when I have to for the twitching, wich I feel in my legs, back and arms. Light excersise helps but dont over due it. I have a very stressful job, when I feel the pain getting horrific I go hide and meditate or pray. Its all about finding what works for you.
One month terrible lower back pain, other days stabbing pains in my legs and arms. Right now, for the past month or so I have terrible upper back pain. Is this Fibromyalgia again? Motrin seems to help a bit but I do not want to become dependent on this. I am a mom of 3 teenagers and want to feel better for them.
I went to the doctors in February with horrible muscle pain in my legs and arms. He did a b-12 which i was low a few months back. Came in with arm pain and not feeling good. He also checked my thyroid and D levels. My thyroid was off a few months ago also but is fine now. But the D test came back low. In the mean time I couldn't take it and went to the rhemy whom I just saw in Janurary.

The pain in hands and arms could be due to fibromyalgia or some other cause. Any sprain, degenerative arthritis of the spine, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and bursitis can lead to arm pain. It will be best to discuss it with your doctor about the above mentioned possibilities. You may need a clinical examination and tests to rule out the possible cause. A generalized muscle tenderness and aches would go more in favor of fibromyalgia. However, in your case the pain in only in arms and legs. Fibromyalgia cannot be ruled out. You must however look for causes of peripheral neuropathy like those associated with diabetes, hypothyroidism, chronic involvement of liver or kidney, chronic alcohol use.
Vascular pathologies like atherosclerosis, deep vein thrombosis too should be ruled out.
I had so much pain that I could hardly crawl in the door yesterday. The pain was everywhere upper back, legs, hips, upper arms and neck. It seems like this condition happens when I have not much pain and try to get everything I need to do in a couple days and then the next day I cannot move. On a good day if I sit for more than 20-30 minutes I stiffen up and takes a while to move again at all. My knees joints are very painful.

Over the past couple of yearsit has got worse it now happens to my arms,also my body.I find my finger go numb quicker in the cold now,my feet have always been cold unless they are in pain they become hot.I am 42 years old went through the menerpause at 37 years,I loose energy quicky and I am now having check done as they have said my Kidney is not filtering correctly.Also when I was younger I suffered from a sleep distorder but I can now tell when i need to sleep.
At night time I often find it hard to sleep because of a dull ache in my arms and legs (2-4 times a week). The pain is not always in all four. Sometimes its just my arms or just my legs or just one leg. Last night it was both arms and I woke up at least once an hour from it. I do fall a lot. I have fallen down the stairs at least 7 times this pass year and I have always been clumsy so it could be from injury but I have never broken a bone (I swear my bones must be made of metal).
I was just recently diagnosed with spondylolysis of my L5 vertebra so my back hurts pretty much all the time. I have real bad pain in the back of my neck all the time. And I have severe pain in both of my shoulders that feels like a burning tearing pain. I have pain across my chest in the muscles that feels like I have just done about 100 pushups.
The pain is always there and I cant be around people sometimes because I get so tight I feel as though I cant breath. I also start shaking some times my arms when the pain is bad and sweating alot under both my breasts and back area...Anyone have any of these symptoms and what to do about it..I have seen 2 doctors, a gastrologist and a rhemologist..Please help..Sometimes I feel like my insides do not have enough room and are expanding or somthing..
If it goes along with a pain in your neck, especially a sharp pain, it sounds like a pinched nerve. When you touch the pain at your neck does the skin feel numb right at the pain? If you press does the pain feel hot/cold and knife like? That is a pinched nerve. A chiropractor can get an entraped nerve out one two three.
My husband and I were rouseing on the floor once and he lifted my legs, Crazy man lol, and a big crack. Now this is to a greater extent than what you are dealing with.
