I am 25 weeks pregnant & taking Kratom. I am addict alcoholic who struggles with sobriety . I started taking Kratom 8 weeks ago & need advice getting off of it.

I'm finding it hard to find good info on whether Subutex (Suboxone without Naloxone) will block the effects of Kratom. I realize Kratom isn't a true opiate, but does it work on the same receptors? I am 3 days off a .5 gram heroin habit per day and I used Kratom first for withdrawals (along with Xanax) then started taking small doses of Subutex. If the Kratom will work whilst taking subs, I would like to try that.

Been using kratom 3 times a day for 2 weeks. To help me quit norco10 habit of 8 years. Im on day 29 of no norco but on day 1 of no kratom that i started taking for the first time 2 weeks ago. Well.. I have a severe reaction to it 3 days ago in which now i gag and vomit if i even get near kratom . So i am stopping. Now. ... im 22hours of no dosage and im severely depressed and very emotional. Does anyone havexa time line of kratom or have gone through this and knows how long this stage last?

Since I weaned from the kratom am I going to go back through withdrawal of kratom? Is opiate withdrawal going to kick back in? I feel really good other than some anxiety, which I know tends to linger. I have a few Valium for that tho.(I don't really enjoy this kind of med so I am not worried about getting addicted to the Valium) in fact I have experimented with almost everything and nothing ever got "ahold" of me before. Its embarrassing, expensive and I just want out!

Hello all. What kind of kratom would i need and how much to kick a 1mg Suboxone habit a day? I see that they have all types of Kratom and from what i hear it works wonders. So what type of Kratom does anyone recommend? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

From what I've heard, Kratom can be addictive too. I would think it would be wise to stay away from it. What kind of habit are you coming off of? Are you tapering or going cold turkey? Do you have any aftercare plans in place? Have you ever tried to quit before? Best of luck to you!

Has anyone tried kratom 1 day than another day California poppy basically alternate for chronic pain. I have legit pain was dependent on Percocet. I have tried this recently seems to be effective. But b4 45 days ago I was extremely naive about all this. So my question to all who know alot more than Me is this safe good idea or what. Thanks for any and all help.

I am an EMS Instructor Intern. I'm post-op been taking Kratom since early 2019, then a large break started 2016-2018. OR gave me 10mg. when can I take make the next dose of kratom? Kratom and Suboxone both have a 24-hour half-life with methadone around 48-54 hours. I'm in pain. when can I take my next dose?, Some doctors say to wait 68-72 hours after??? I have Scheuermann's disease in Mid to upper back with Low Backbone spur. please any doctors to answer our questions.

Hey. I know y'all are probably getting tired of seeing me complain about kratom but here goes again. A simple Google check and you will find a lot about kratom. I begin using shortly after being clean from a 150 mg hydro habit. At first I barely noticed the effects probably from high tolerance. Then one day after about a week using it I realized I loved it. Now in some way I'm hesitant to discuss it here for fear of giving others a bad idea. I strongly urge younot to mess with it.

i plan to go to Miami for 19 days then go to Fort Myers FL for 11 more days basicly a 30 day trip i plan to take less kratom and less kratom when i get there due to the weather being better then where im at. im sick of walking around stiff and my bones get frozen i guess i picked the worse time of the year in MI to get through this...i wish some one had some kratom expierence on here that could maybe explain a few things i need to know about it...

I mentioned before I was free and clear of opiates then I found kratom. Well I'm on day 4 cruising into day five but still feel kind of crazy. I feel like I've been in this state for eternity and it will never end. Just need reassuring I guess that I've hit the halfway point. Kratom withdrawals are REAL don't be fooled by things you read online. It definitely does not produce the same intense euphoria as true opiates bit it still messes with them. Thanks for listening.

In 3 years here, I have seen many come here to detox WITH Kratom, then I've seen them return to detox FROM Kratom. I've heard it works okay for a short time, and have seen very few successfully use it for detox or pain. In a matter of weeks tolerance builds, faster than with other opiate receptor analgesics. I haven't tried it, but I know a little about the brain and synthetic as well as natural alkaloids in the brain.

No, it's kratom which is illegal only in Australia, Thailand, Laos, Maylasia etc... not in the US. In the US, it is a "drug of concern" and "not approved for human consumption" Problem is that I can write prescriptions and this substance is considered "mind altering" I know that it doesnt really have a large impact on my judgement but it is known to be along the level of an opiate "high"... I only take it to combat the withdrawals though but still..

Wow, that was really weird as I just got back from looking at about 10 different websites on Kratom, and come back to find this post! I didn't find much, except that some of the sites claim that in small doses it has an "energizing" effect and in large doses has a sedating effect which has helped people with opoid dependence/addiction. I'd like to more also. One site claimed that it was for focus in people over 40 lol.....

There is a herb called kratom that is being studied to help narcotic addiction. Kratom has a slight opiate feel but isn't as strong as opium and the chemical make up is very different. Kratom withdrawal is way less severe, might help with narcotic withdrawal symptoms.

Hello everyone. Well I managed to clean for awhile then started takie kratom because you hear a lot about it not being addicting yada yada. Well it is. And I'm sure some people will disagree. Kratom may help some with withdrawals but there is a reason. It acts on the opiate receptors in your brain. Hmmm sound familiar. Now I will say it is not close to the strength but nonetheless it does do something. I'm on my 3rd day clean. It's going well.

I got the herb kratom to help with the wd.Never used it for wd or for fun found out about it doing research on ways to help with my cold Turkey and went and bought some I hope it helps has any body no how to use it can I start out drinking it immediatly or should I wait until im wd?

He has bought Kratom over the internet before, and my husband and I thought it was a type of tea, but later found out it's illegal in several countries ( it is legal in the US), and that it has psychoactive properties. He has been bugging us to buy him more, saying that it really helps him with sleep and anxiety. Can you tell me if you know anything about Kratom and how safe or dangerous it is? Thanks.

i am taking Kratom as I wean off subox. Today, I missed my dose of sub and took a cup of K instead. Then by 3pm I took .5mg, and carried on. i am trying to displace Sub with Kratom,.. so how addictive is K ?

Thanks, I am NOT a FAN of KRATOM, But it may have saved my life, I do not know much about Kratom, I think its aweful and should be banned along with bath salts and synthetic mary jane, I was symply answering the mans question on how I got through this, I did some research on kratom and i do not think it is good, I ALMOST started to crave it but stopped.. Im on day 9 of not even taking a ******* aspirin, I was on opiates for 5 years and i plan to keep clean of that poision..
