fibromyalgia

1945565 tn?1330465775 You can wait until the need arises and then mention it. They do not need warning to make accomodations. I would not mention it in the workplace unless you have to. I did and got ousted. All of a sudden the writing I had been doing for months was no longer any good, and that is the 'reason' they gave for ousting me. My co-workers were great, it was just the bosses.
446829 tn?1212425523 Let's put it this way, Everything is related. If you have a bulging disc, then you have a pinched nerve. If the nerve is pinched it sends a message to the muscle to tighten up. Therefore you end up with a tension headache. If you are uptight, your muscles tighten and cause it. If you have a pinched nerve, same thing. It is a shame you have had to suffer so much. Work place injuries are the worst. They can victimize you over and over.
1450736 tn?1284966027 This was in June. I now take Savella for the Fibromyalgia. The medications he has tried on me for my constant fever have not helped. Before my recent monthly visit last week I was informed by a former co-worker (I had to quit due to my symptoms and the problems they cause me) there was Black mold in our work buildings. The symptoms I have are so similar and mentioned this to him. He immediately sent me off for blood testing for Fungus and liver functions.
398920 tn?1218779347 hey, I was scanning the forums to see if you had gotten your CFS forum yet. I noticed that the fibromyalgia forum now is the fibromyalgia/CFS forum. You have a forum now! Congrats!
10452875 tn?1436484351 I also work in retail & the standard is killer in the back. Stocking anything heavy may make it worse. If the merchandise is light & ca fit on a cart that is higher so you dont have to bend, then the moving around may actually help your back. But if not, I would ask your DR for a note & give it to the manager above yours. Explain that you have already spoke with him about it.
Avatar f tn You also do not want to lose your job and you must worry about your flat and your child. So whenevr you see this allow yourself to let go of the times you hesitated in doing anything. You were smart in asking for help. I also want you then to let go of the times you almost gave in or entertaoned doing it and had to tell convince yourself that you may not be an unreliable provider for your child. How does the boss feel about you and/or treat you? How long have you worked for him?
Avatar f tn Can a person have elevated ammonia in bloodstream from an environmental exposure? And what would the symptoms be?
Avatar m tn Several years ago I worked in a building and specifically in an office that made me feel sick all the time. Then in an apartment where mold was such an issue both my son and myself were so ill but I could not prove it. In talking to other residents so many were experiencing the same issues. Your situation is very serious and does not sound right. Especially given the age of each of you that got so ill. It might be worth talking to an attorney.
Avatar n tn The neurologist gave me a painkiller(maxgalin 75mg) and antidepressant to try out for 2 weeks..Still i feel the pain sensation and mild giddiness as well as buzzin in ma ears..i m not able to work properly..help???
Avatar f tn Going to have a robotic laproscopy some time in Feb to remove the scar tissue/adhesions, seperate the ovary, fallopian tube and bowels from eachother and hopefully save the ovary and tube. Has anyone ever had this done?
551343 tn?1506830518 OK I get really confused about the pain found in MS, some neurologist still say there is no PAIN in MS, then on the news in the UK there is this lady who went to court about assisted suicide as she wants to be able to go to Switzerland for assisted suicide and not have her husband arrested, WHEN THE PAIN of her PPMS gets too much for her to bear. Then there is the pain in Fibromyaligia and M.E. When I talk to people who have FM & M.
Avatar f tn Fibromyalgia is diagnosed after other things are ruled out and if you have pain in the proper tender points. You should see a doctor.
Avatar f tn If you leave the workplace for a while and come back are your symptoms better? Do you spend most time in one location, or do you move around? Can you try to pinpoint which location(s) are worst? Best of luck with it.
Avatar f tn As weird as this sounds shape ups are what i loved the first pregnancy and i was on my feet 8 hours of the day. The rocking motion helps not to create pressure points so my feet were swollen but not really sore.
Avatar m tn She told me that her headaches have been coming and going for about 2 years (she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for 16 years now). The headaches are migraine like in her words. Could this fluid at the base of her skull be related to her Fibromyalgia?
Avatar f tn s and they are not working. Do you think the weakness in the legs is a symptom for fibromyalgia and how about the hip pain is that the same from fibromyalgia? I do have an appointment with a orthopedic doctor because I also have pain in both of my knees for years now and I can not Neil down and get back up with out someone helping me. Avatar n tn MS is not directly inherited, but genetics play an important role in who gets the disease. While the risk of developing MS in the general population is 1/750, the risk rises to 1/40 in anyone who has a close relative (parent, sibling, child) with the disease." http://www.nationalmssociety.org/about-multiple-sclerosis/what-we-know-about-ms/who-gets-ms/index.
