He never mentioned Fibromyalgia to me. In fact, nobody has. So on my own I have scoured the internet and searched inner ear pain and fibro. I saw people have experienced this and I felt hopeful that I am not alone in this. I also at times feel like I get a flare up and feel like I have sores ( you cant see them) in my mouth, primarily right sided at the moment. Or a feeling of something caught in my throat. I feel like I am losing my mind and my life over this.

Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 8 years ago. Have all the yucky stuff that goes along with it, but I try not to let it ruin my day, I just go with it when it's bad, and when I have good days I feel blessed. Depression, ringing in right ear, pain at back of left eye, migraine, foggy brain, poor concentration span, loss of intellect, slurred speech, unable to focus and retain information, heart palp, burning in mouth, and under feet, weakness and pain in joints especially in right knee, and left elbow, a constant feeling as if my nerves are hypo active ( like a generator is working in my brain and body), whenever I walk I have this tendency to fall, feel very unstable.

I had that problem for a long time because of grinding and clenching my teeth in my sleep so my dentist made me a mouth guard to wear at night. It helped a lot and I wore it until my wisdom teeth shifted my other teeth and it did not fit anymore. If you have medical coverage I would suggest trying it, if not, try just buying a normal sports guard, it would essentially do the same thing.

Is pelvic adhesive disease, endometriosis, IC and fibromyalgia related in anyway?

she said fibromyalgia was the cause just a few days before she went in as her symptoms are like that.. she gets numb in the legs but not like its gone to sleep.. but now she can not walk.. todays prelim symptoms hyper thyroid treatments and hormonal treatments. but she stilll cant walk.. saying its long term rehab.. but sounds like they are punting.. symptoms. shaky limbs cant walk, muscles feel like she ran a marathon she says. eye sight deteriorating... help..

I have peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome with active Epstein Barr Virus. I take Gabapentin 300 mg 3x a day and I also have a heart condition (Prinzmetal's Angina) where I take Verapamil, Lasix, and Potassium. For the last week or so, my ankles and to a lesser extent my feet have been aching and tingling so bad. I would say on a scale of 1 to 10, it's about an 8 or 9. I cannot sleep at night.

If products such as Sensodyne or Prevident Sensitive do not work , dentists recommend coming in for office treatments using gels, etc. In regards to fibromyalgia, it does affect the facial muscles and in turn increases the sensitivity to pain for patients. Dentists are aware of the increased sensitivity in those patients when doing procedures such as cleaning, filling, etc.

And I have noticed some strange side effects after the treatment, such as chills and metallic taste in mouth. Although, its only been a few days. Maybe it takes longer for it to work.

Hi, I've had a headache for two days on the right side of my head and spreads through my neck, this has happen before because I have headaches and migraines a lot. I'm 20 yrs old and female. I'm also experiencing a bad taste in my mouth . This has also happened before but I'm not sure why. Could this be anything serious . Have ovaries intact not told in menopause or verified with recent lab test. Annual labs WNL Severe chronic dry eye, moderate dry mouth and dry itchy skin.

IC and fibromyalgia go hand in hand. Sjorgren's is quite common when you have IC too. I know that if you have one autoimmune disease you are more likely to have another but I'm not sure why IC seems to be connected with so many!

For the last three years following one of my 3 foot surgeries I have had pain in my left hip. Over the past year My Doctor has treated me for Bursitis with cortisone injections and spinal block but to no avail. The pain is now in my entire left leg, left shoulder and arm along with headaches on the left side of my head and neck. My profession is equestrian/trainer and it has become increasingly more difficult to work with the horses. When I ride if I ride for over two hours I am in tears!

I have also heard that this is common in fibromyalgia - but fibromyalgiasymptoms generally fits my condition very well! So I'm not sure - either I have that as well, or VDD mimics fibro very much. I'll talk to my doctor about this next time I see her.

Hello! My left leg is hurting from the knee to the hip. The bend of the leg or pelvic area hurts to walk. I have fibromyalgia. This pain just started about a week ago. I can't sleep on either side. I have to sleep on my back. If I sleep on my back to long it starts to hurt. I was told I have three fibroid tumors. Can they be the pain I am having or can it be something else. The pain is severe!!!!!!! What can I do?

How successful is Cymbalta in treating Fibromyalgia? I began taking it 2 months ago, but I am still leery that an antidepressant is the solution to my pain and discomfort. Is it supposed to lessen the intensity of the pain or eliminate the pain. How long should I take this medication?
