Well I went to the Chiari walk in Louisville Saturday. I was impressed with the turnout myself. There were maybe 70-80 people and for a disorder no one here seems to know anything about, I thought that was a good number. Hopefully, next year will be better. You have an airport and a military base right there. People coming and going all the time so even if everyone in Louisville is STD-free (and they are not) people who may have one travel through your community. Hi Paula, I have read many of these post but have not posted myself. I live in Indiana 5 minutes from Louisville. The closest Chiari center I have found is at the Mayfield Clinic in Ohio. There is also a Chiari clinic in WI. However, neither will accept me because I carry Medicaid as a secondary insurance. I have not been able to locate a doc on the suggested Chiari doc list that is near our area. Please let me know if you find one!
