Avatar f tn Yes, I'm sure that lady (unless she is a 16 year old boy) really felt big when she pretended to be nice to my child and from the first day she was, she admits, insulting my little girl. Anyone heard of the Psychiatric condition "Dissociative Identity Disorder" previously known as "Multiple Personality Disorder". This will be recognized in several ways.
Avatar n tn Hello there. I have had fibromyalgia since i was about 13 years old and i am now 18. From experience I can tell you that I went through almost those exact symptoms. My doctors have told me that there is no one specific test for fibromyalgia so to diagnose it, they have to rule out everything else. My testing went on for a few years but I was finally diagnosed and have been able to keep my fibro. under control for quite a while now. I found that Celebrex really helped me along with aqua therapy.

Avatar f tn I am curious how many people are RH-, received RhoGam injection after the birth of their 1st childs birth and now has Fibromyalgia. In the 1980's, RhoGam had mercury in it. Actually, mercury was in many immunizations (used as a preservative), but have been (supposedly) recently removed from products. I cannot get much information on this subject.
1830047 tn?1321671393 Most of my problems are caused by fatigue, pain, weakness, and muscle cramps-spasms-etc. Recently (starting in one leg and then eventually both legs and arms) my muscles have started to feel like they are humming, or vibrating so fast it's more like noise than movement though you can't see or feel these spasms. I've also started having sporadic muscle spasms on the left side on my tongue which makes talking difficult.

Avatar m tn Then last year I started having pain in both eyes in the a.m. with tiny crystals in the corners. I started taking Life tones for my fibromyalgia pain. Lifetones not only helped relieve my fibromyalgia pain it also eliminated the pain in my eyes. As long as I take it, no more crystals! I think it’s something to do with a uric acid problem. Hope this helps.
Avatar n tn He said that the scans don't show any cause for this to be happening and it looks like it is curving in rather than the bone thinning in that area. At this point it isn't affecting my brain, so he wants me to repeat the scans in October and come back so he can see if there are any changes. Avatar n tn My Nephew, whom I am raising, began in the latter part of the last school year to have a spastic type head bobbing that seems compulsive begin to occur. I immediately took him to see his doctor, who said he needed more sleep (which he steadfastly refuses to do) and I should just watch it. She said he would likely outgrow it. I have my doubts though... Over the summer, I noticed that while he still had the problem, it lessened.
Avatar n tn Children are most often affected because they tend to swim, wade, and play in the shallow water more than adults. Also, they are less likely to towel dry themselves when leaving the water. Once an outbreak of swimmer's itch has occurred in water, will the water always be unsafe? No. Many factors must be present for swimmer's itch to become a problem in water. Since these factors change (sometimes within a swim season), swimmer's itch will not always be a problem.

Avatar f tn Reglan (metoclopromadine) is a very cheap medication, unfortunately, it is also metabolized in the kidneys, so a too high dose results in toxic levels in the blood. My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds.
