Avatar m tn Hello, Fuzzy eyes can be due to eye irritation, eye allergies or any eye infection. Ocular migraine, cholesterol deposits, high blood pressure all can result in fuzzy eyes. Visit an ophthalmologist to determine if you have a serious eye condition. Any physical or emotional trauma can cause a flare up of fibromyalgia symptoms. It is best to seek a second opinion and have a discussion on the possible alternatives, especially conservative treatments if possible.

1105540 tn?1279190717 Common pain syndromes in MS include a band-like sensation around the thorax, shooting pain down the back with neck flexion, and pain in the limbs due to spasticity or spasms when the spinal cord is involved. Fibromyalgia and MS can certainly occur together, so that sometimes, it would not be possible to determine if your symptoms in your teenage years were due to the MS or due to fibromyalgia.

434278 tn?1324709825 My body lays down extra fascial tissue which creates more pain. I think for fibromyalgia there are certain pain points that must be tender in order to be diagnosed. Otherwise I would think they feel very similar.
1943833 tn?1349280189 I have wondered often over the last few years if I have Fibromyalgia, but have never asked a doctor about it because I don't seem to have the tender points. I'm wondering how many of these symptoms are "common" for fibromyalgia. Or maybe CFS? -occasional severe sensitivity to noise. I can be sitting in a room, with people around me and noises I would normally not mind (kids playing, etc) will "hurt". I don't really have a headache, and it's not an actual pain.
Avatar f tn Dr. Oyakawa, I have been experiencing eye pain for about a month and a half. It comes and goes. It feels like there is pressure and my eye is going to pop out. I've been to my M.D., Neurologist, Eye Doctor and had a CT and MRI. It was mentioned that it could be a Facial Neuralgia since everything looks ok on the scans. I do have Fibromyalgia. Anyway, It feels like a severe sinus infection on one side of my face. Even my teeth hurt. I'm at a loss and wish we could fix it.
1347273 tn?1317630738 I was have quite large pupils but was given tropicamide to enlarge my pupils. Later on that day I got a severe headache and severe eye pain and photophobia in both my eyes and went to A&E. 927983 tn?1321887689 Things have only gotten worse, I have not responded to the Neurontin I was prescribed, or the migraine medications. I have been experiencing episodes of severe eye pain in my right eye, and the inability to see out of it. when I try to walk down the stairs, it's as though I am being electrocuted through the arch of my right foot and it radiates up my leg. My ability to think and form thoughts takes a lot of effort.

Avatar f tn There are many medical conditions that can mimic fibromyalgia and should be ruled out like hypothyroidism, vitamin D insufficiency, parathyroid disease, muscle diseases causing muscle pain such as polymyositis, bone diseases causing bone pain, hypercalcemia, and infectious diseases. If your symptoms persists, it is best to see a neurologist also to rule out neurological issues also. Take care and do keep us posted.

Avatar m tn You may want to have the doctors look into this if you do. If your pain persists I think you should mention the notion of Fibromyalgia and ask to be referred to a Rheumatologist.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about two years ago, but when I started having numbness in the right side of my face, right eye pain and trouble swallowing, my rheumatologist said that it was somethin neurological - which lead me to neuro #1 who first suggested fibro was the cause. Then he chalked it all up to stress. Now I am seeing an MS specialist to hopfully get to the bottom of what's going on.

I have had numb feet for around 10 yrs. that several drs. never could figure out. I have nerve tests( to what extint I don't know) The cholesterol I found out about 3 yrs.ago. I do have tinnitus all the time!
Avatar n tn I have alot of the same symptoms that I have. I personally have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Your best bet is to find a good Reuhmatologist of Pain Management doctor, so that they can better diagnoses. My main reason for entering this forum is the fact that my stiffness now continues all day long. I have a difficult time exercising as a unfortunately very ill and cannot get my body to do anything.
1364792 tn?1278054787 GERD or acid reflux is common to have at the same time which can present as chest pain. One can have neuropathy, numbness, headaches and even vision problems as the muscles of the eye are affected like any other muscle or you could present with Sjogrens which is common with anyone with arthritis and many with Firbro. Don't know about the allergy or dizziness. Others may be able to reflect on those two.
470168 tn?1237474845 I have energy throughout the day. I don't have constant headaches and eye pain. the joint/muscle pain is subsiding. Previously it was very difficult, especially around the time of diagnosis. I could have gladly gone to bed and stayed there. I think there is some kind of autoimmune thing going on with FM. I have noticed for years that it somehow involves what, or how my food is being processed, because a couple of hours after eating I am falling asleep.
