Headaches on top of the head may be caused by a variety of issues including trauma, primary headaches such as migraine or tension headaches, and other neurological conditions.
Diagnosis of
fibromyalgia, involves at least 3 months of widespread pain, and pain and tenderness in at least 11 of 18 areas (arms, buttocks, chest, knees, lower back,neck, rib cage, shoulders, thighs, etc). If the only symptom is headache, further evaluation may need to be done.
