690327 tn?1255358111 I got arthritis, carpal tunnel, fibro, DDD and herniated discs in my neck, overweight, high cholesterol and BP--you name it, it seems like I got it. I hate the fibro the most. Very painful.
Avatar m tn every medicine I had been put on has been problems and I have been taken off all for Fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and arthritis. Now, my right eye is getting fuzzy, not every day, but more days all the time. My doctor has said although I need back surgery, be careful doing that because it will possibly make your fibromyalgia worse. Will I ever be able to try medicines again? I have an allergy from them...swollen tongue and throat type but, can that ever change???/ Thanks.
Avatar f tn I have Fibromyalgia and can only work three days a week with days in between and have to sleep 12 hours and two short naps during the days off. This year if I do too much during one day, my upper back spasms into a neck/shoulder pain spasm and causes migraine, and I am bedridden. The only thing that provides relief is a hot bath and codeine and 2 muscle relaxants and one gravol. It has only been that bad for one year.

Avatar n tn Since the concern many Drs have is that a low tsh can lead to osteoporosis and heart problems, I was wondering if any of you long term folks have had regular bone density scans and heart monitored. It seems if your TSH indicated hyper but you have no hyper symptoms then your bone density and heart would also be unaffected.

Avatar n tn As of a few weeks ago, my Rheumatologist told me I have osteoarthritis in my hands. Last week I had a bone scan and was told I also have osteoporosis. I take 10 different meds a day( asthma, thyroid, high blood pressure, hot flashes, ibs, gird, and lupus) and am so tired of it all. Is it possible to have all 3 (Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis) and if so, is it common? I guess I keep thinking that maybe it seems odd to be young and have all 3 at the same time.

Avatar f tn I had been seeing a nurse practioner for the last 10 years or so but it's gotten worse.. I also have osteoarthritis and early onset osteoporosis and had been seeing a rheumatologist since the 1980's. Long story short...have new rheum. doc and he's prescribed celebrex but nothing for pain & fibro. He says go to my family doctor for the fibro and take advils & tylenols for pain, because percosets, loratabs, etc does not work for osteo. Advils/ tylenols  DO NOT work for me!!!

I wonder if I have Sjogrens, Fibro or Polymyalgia. About a month ago, completely out of the blue I woke up with incredibly stiff and moderately painful shoulders and upper arms.

Avatar f tn I was diagnosed twice for RA and also told I don't have it. I've been told I had a bad case of fibromyalgia and then was told it's not that. I have had MRI's of my joints which are all inflammed and an MRI of the brain which showed some white matter but nothing to worry about. I still have horrible headaches that I wake up to just in one area of my head which is where the white matter is. I have whole body parathesia, muscle aches, tremors, twitches and spasms.
1550149 tn?1340004330 During the cycle I am tired, my muscles tighten and I have pain and weakness around the joints in my hands, neck and lower back. I am always in pain to a certain extent but during a cycle it is much worse. My joints seem to pop and crack a lot more during that time. Now there is no break from my current cycle which has gone on for about a month.
