Avatar n tn Right now I am having pressure problems and went to the ER due to extremely unrelenting migraines with a little difficulty breathing and heart palpitations and a lumpy? feeling in my chest. 5586759 tn?1370438872 I've had Fibromyalgia since I was a teenager and I have gone through one pregnancy already, but at the time I hadn't been diagnosed properly for the ailments that I have. It's now round two, I am pregnant again, and I'm wondering about good suggestions to help maintain lower levels of pain. Last time I was put on bed rest at 8 1/2 months and that was torture for my sciatica nerve. I'm trying to stay active and strong. I've been going through physical therapy and things of that nature.
Avatar f tn He said the lack of sleep caused by fibromyalgia is causing the difficulty breathing! He said if I would take Trazadone and get a full nights sleep the breathing problems would stop. Im just not sold on this diagnosis??? Has anyone else tried this???
Avatar f tn Yoga, with its low intensity exercise, breathing and meditation reduces the pain, fatigue and sleep problems associated with fibromyalgia. Buy exercise bands and use them for stretching. I have my wife doing this and very light weights for a few years now and it's helped. Take vitamin D3 and take Omega3 oil at least 500mg 2x per day. I would also check for food allergies.

2015036 tn?1333001388 I don't have the pain usually associated with fibromyalgia, and from a look at my MRI's-I have only a mild case of MS. That said, it seems like my doctors are associated all my symptoms to MS, and I just don't think it can be that simple... I have a few symptoms I haven't reported to my doctor yet, because I am having a hard time with describing the problems accurately. (Bear with me, while I try.) I choke on my food a lot. It's very frequent...
Avatar n tn She did a few things in her office and said that i had Fibromyalgia(keep in mind that she never took blood at that point). She then gave me a prescription for OxyContin 20mgs three times a day and 15mgs of OxyCodone immmediate release for breakthrough pain. After that, she did some blood work and said everyhting was fine. to make a long story short, she upped my dosage to 40mgs of OxyContin three times daily and 30mgs of Oxycodone for breakthrough pain.
988168 tn?1297405046 The rectal area has a lot of nerves, and muscles and I've had pain there every since I had a hysterectomy, very painful vaginal problems, and throbbing in the rectal area, and it all depends on the bowel movement of the day, some days it is not to bad and other days it is unbearable, and this condition makes you feel so isolated, because of the the nature of it's location. Thanks for sharing, and giving some solutions. So what kind of doctor does the botox injections?

Avatar n tn Other symtoms include parasthesis (pins and needles, knives and daggers). Lots of muscle pain and tightness so as to restrict flexibility. Began feeling attempted to swim. After day 3 of swimming, I couldn't go anymore. It is like the muscles wouldn't work. Fatigue appears to be cumulative. The muscle fatigue doesn't feel like fatigue, it is more like they just don't work. Stairs are a real bear when I am like this, although I am not breathing hard. 15. Nov..
Avatar f tn I have also been diagnosed with asthma, acid reflux, celiac intolerance, fibromyalgia, and severe chronic constipation. In 2000 I had a series of surgeries which did not help. It is now being discovered that all of the other conditions are connected to the untreated AS. Does anyone know more about these connections? My rheumatologist says she has never heard of a connection between AS and bowel problems but I am finding it all over the internet.

Avatar f tn He said a lot of people pretend to have FM and a lot of people are misdiagnosed with FM. He said I meet all the criteria and the breathing problems are more than likely from lack of sleep. He wants me to try trazadone to help with the sleep and see if the breathing improves.
Avatar n tn I would like to know what the symptoms for Fibromyalia are as I am having chest tightening and problems breathing which have been getting progressively worse. Avatar f tn My lower back is always hurting and I have migraines and headaches very frequently. I have been from dr to dr and it seams that since I have been given this title that no one seams to care any longer about any of these problems. I am starting to become paranoid that there could be something else wrong that isn't just fibro, and it could be getting overlooked. I feel I am way too young to be feeling the way I feel. Any thoughts? Thank you!
Avatar f tn Was dx with Graves disease almost 12 yrs ago and had the radioactive iodine treatment at that time. Was placed on thyroid medication and seemed to tolerate it with no problems with allergic reactions. For the past 5 months I've been dealing with medication problems and difficulty adjusting my thyroid levels. It went over active and then underactive. I've been on both generic and brand name Levothyroxine.
