Avatar m tn So I'm on the Fentanyl 25mcg patch, switched from 180mg of Morphine ER because of tolerance. As I've said here before, but reiterating for those who may not know, it doesn't work for me. 7408946 tn?1405998035 Not fully Joder standing what you said on the last part but putting a baby on your chest is fine so long as you know you will not roll over on them. There have been many deaths that way also. Also another reason you should watch out when putting baby on their back is the soft spot on the back of there cranium where brain is still developing can give a baby a flat head due to the indentation of pressure.
Avatar f tn Not just for relatives and friends but for everyone, to publicise the huge loss from drug related deaths. By public awareness it helps loose the stigma associated with drug use and makes the public aware it can happen to anyone. No one is immune. Have you tried counselling. Not to get you to come to terms with his death - You don't---- but just to help you cope on a day to day basis.
790421 tn?1341230131 One major advantage of the fentanyl patch (or other long-acting medication) is that you aren't constantly trying to chase the peaks and valleys of pain control like you have to with short acting meds. I feel the other advantage that the patch has over other long acting meds is that it is LONGER acting, meaning that most long acting ORAL meds you have to take usually twice a day, whereas the patch is typically changed every 48-72 hours.

Doesn't say what type or give the measurements of the herniation. I have it as well (8mm) and I'm really interested if my 4 year old has it too. I know my daughter doesn't because she just a MRI. Deaths from all major airline crashes in the U.S. average less than 300 annually, but 1 airplane crash gets more media attention and governmental scrutiny than the 300 medication-related deaths which occurred not only on the same day as the airline crash, but also every day before and after for decades. Why has this epidemic of side effects gone unrecognized?
