I asked if I could bring my unused fentanyl patches in to the office for destruction and then receive a prescription for an equal number of patches, which I would then fill with my preferred (Mylan) brand that has adhered more consistently to my skin. I also mentioned that I was still experiencing breakthrough pain, as I wrote above, and that I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with my physician at my next scheduled appointment about pain management.
my life has changed. I was told by the doctor I had been seeing for years, that I would be on the fentanyl for the rest of my life. I was so depressed. I was always in pain...my quality of life was just awful. I am currently taking Opana ER 30mg /2 TID for long term spinal pain due to breaks and fusions. I am going to try replacing that for a short time with a Fentanyl Patch to see if I have any improvement in Pain Mgmt. I am just wondering what regimen I should use to safely do this. For example. Is it as easy as waiting 12 hrs. after my last Opana ER and then apply the patch (it's a 3 day patch) then take another ER once the 3 days has expired?
Have you tried talking to someone about some of your problems. A good friend, your pastor would be great as sometimes our view points are not what they really are. I have been learning alot about myself by going to counselling along with the thyroid meds etc. I have found that a lot of the things that I believed about myself were lies that I picked up over the years. As I realize the truth it is freeing me to view my life in a more positive manner.
im in detox from fentanyl. my dr. prescribed wellbutrin for 30 days. I was on 50 mg so I was given 25mg and wore the patch for 4 to 5 days before putting on a new one. after my last patch I started on xanax for withdrawls symtoms and put on a catapress patch. this worked real well and I feel like im starting to feel good. there are times my skin hurts and muscles hurt so that's where the xanax helps. I had neck surgery to replace a blown disc and know what pain is like.
I am currently 29 weeks and 4 days, and for the past 2 weeks I've been having charlie horse cramping in my calves that wake me up out of my sleep. They are very painful... and I was wondering if any other moms out there ever had this happen to them. I called my doctor and they ordered some tests stat.

Having horses for many years I am certain it's fly allergies.You can put a fly mask on him during the day and take it off at night. If you are boarding have the care taker feeding the horses take it off for you and put it on in the mornings if your not there. In his morning grain you can give him benadrill about 4 pink pills once in the morning with his feeding or evening if he eats grain in the evening hours.
Why is it that when pregnant you get more charlie horses that hurt ten times worse then when your not Pregnant? And how the heck do I get rid of it cause I burst into tears now everytime I get them.
Last night I kept waking up with a charlie horse more then once in both legs n now my legs are really really sore. What can I do to stop these damn Charlie horses?
I'm 26 weeks and every night for the last week or two I've been waking myself up in the middle of the night with a Charlie horse in my leg. Then I usually fix it but then a bit later it'll be my other leg. I know it's not a dietary thing because I take my prenatals everyday and usually drink an organic juice cleanse that has 100% of daily fruits and vegetables in it. At night when I stretch or randomly I will get the worst leg cramps where I cry and it won't go away for like 15 seconds. Any one else have this problem, any splutions? I try to rub my leg better, but sometimes it doesn't work. Last pregnancy it happened as well, and I tried walking but that didn't go so well either.
I'm 34weeks 0days today and for some strange reason I keep waking up with very painful Charlie horses! Anyone knows why? It slips my mind every time I go to the doctor and I forget to ask her. Thanks.
