s are VERY mild this time around! I was really expecting to go to hell and back with this fentanyl withdrawal but so far it has been 10x easier than my oxy withdrawals I went through last year. Anyone have any theories why my w/d this time around has not been nearly as bad as last time? I have been dependent for about 4 months this time around, using mainly oxy/dilaudid/fentanyl but I havent had oxy in awhile mainly just fentanyl and dilaudid.

The OB nurses will help you position and help you stay still also. Don't worry you'll be fine, I know you will be able to sit thru it. I haven't had an epidural for childbirth but I've had them several different times and was able to pull thur it. Wishing you a healthy baby !

Or really starting to make sure your ready to bring the baby home? I ask because im 21+3 weeks and me and my boyfriend still dont have our own place and are still living with his grandma. I want to have a homebirth but her house is NOT sanitary enough to have a baby in. So we need our own place before baby comes. Anyways im thinking that 30weeks would be an ok time to move out if we dont have a place of our own yet. What do you think?

I'm scared of childbirth. I am 37 weeks 4 days.I went to the doctors today and he said I'm 1 cm dialated and 75% effaced. This week or next the doctor thinks my baby girl will be here . I went to the childbirth class Sunday, it made me realize what to expect, but I know it will hurt. Any suggestions. Btw I'm getting an epidural.

I too said I didn't want children because of the pain but after me and my husband married in October, all I could think about was producing a child for us. Someone who would depend on us and bring us joy. I'm 13w2d now and I am terrified at the thought of childbirth but I don't let that fear consume me. If I carry this baby for 9+ months, surely 1 day or less of labor won't kill me. I'm just excited to see my baby in December!

How much of each were you on and for how long? The fentanyl withdrawal will probably be the worst... I had the roughest time with the fentanyl... and no withdrawals from the percocet/oxycodone... it all depends on the person and amount and how long the person has been using,.. good luck.

s a month ago, Percocet 10 for breakthru and Lyrica for my Fibro. I am trying to quit smoking and HATE that gum! Was thinking about the patch but was wondering if it was safe to have both on? Any suggestion?

I have been on Fentanyl patches for about 6 months and it was prescribed to wean me off of Norco 10/325 2 pills 4 x day after a surgery. I got as high as 75 mcg patch of Fentanyl every 3 days and then I developed some kind of allergy. The Pain Dr. says the allergy is to the adhesive, not the fentanyl.
