yea it seems that I have both ovarian and a breast cyst. I had been to the clinic in july when I found the breast lump, the PA couldn't feel it but ordered an u/s--which only checked the area that i could feel it (I can only feel it when i'm sitting up (and am very sm busted so there's not much tissue to hide anything)) The dr is able to feel it when i'm lying down and says the "cyst" is in a different location when i'm lying down.

9, endometriosis and had surgury in october to remove ovarian cyst, endometriomas and to clean up the endometrial implants.. but i think this will be my cycle for a bfp.. i have a feeling there will be alot of bfp's this cycle and we will all be best friends by the end of our 9months best of luck to u baby dust to us both.

i would defintely ask your doctor! i got one cyst on femara.. well two others, but the resolved on their own, and the reason i got those was due to endo and pcos not letting my follies rupture, so then they just grew bigger into cysts! also, you might want to try switching triggers - to novarel which they say is the strongest trigger (10,000units of hcg) it will help those follies rupture and might prevent cysts!

Your might have pcos...i have that also and it's where you don't get your period every month and you don't ovulate on your own. My doctor put me on clomid and femara to help me ovulate and some months i did and some months i didnt...so i turned to injectable which helped alot but it depends on the person. You might do great on clomid :) I would take provera to get my menstrual than the clomid whenever doctor directed which day to start and end pills..

As far as I know I have never had an ovarian cyst until I started taking fertility drugs. My first ovulation induction/iui on clomid was unsuccessful. I had 5 follicles all good sizes but no pregnancy and produced one cyst. My the doctor would not let me start another cycle until the cyst went away. My second cycle on gonal f/iui was unsuccessful. I had 8 follicles, no pregnancy and now I have three cysts and have to lose another month or two waiting for them to go away.

m 24 yrs old and have been on Contraceptive since 2002. In 2002 i was deducted with ovarian cyst in one of my overy & also my insulin was high. However I had to change my gynecologist cause my earlier gyne was relocated to another location.

I had sugery for endometriosis, polyp, ovarian cyst, thick lining. Long story short, after surgery, Fsh went down to 5.5 and amh was .7.(which was low for my age as well) I am 36. We did meds-follistim, femara, estrace, progesterone. (it worked very first cycle) I am now 33w1d and I will be 37 saturday. So it absolutely can be done. I had a great RE who was very aggressive. At the end of the 2nd cycle they did and u/s and told me it was gone. I started the femara again and told my DH, this is it, lets go the donor route if this doesn't work, cause I'm physically and mentally exhausted from all this. On cycle day 10 I went in for an u/s and was told that they didn't see the cyst on day 3, but it was still there and now 39mm due to me injecting Gonal-F. (wow, how'd they miss that). Fortunately I had grown 2 follies on my left side.

Had scan today and menopur was increased to 150.

Well just as I figured, doc said I had stage 2 endo that he removed, and he also removed an ovarian cyst. I will find out more at my follow up in a week. My period also arrived a week early over the weekend,,,really pisses me off. Doc said it wouldn't interfere with the lap. I think doctor also applied something that would reduce scar tissue as he said he would. So, I am hoping to start injectables in april. I wonder if my cycles are going to be thrown off now.

I also feel dull and sharp constant pains in my left side which feel an awful lot like an ovarian cyst. I was put on birth control when I was 18 to help regulate my periods and to decrease the ovarian cysts (I'm now 30 and have been off the pill since Feb). I am frustrated because I seem to have all of the horrible side effects from clomid but no LH surge. Can OPK kits be wrong? People say your cycles are longer and that you ovulate later on clomid.

I did find that the side effects of Femara were far less severe than the Clomid and, unlike Clomid, Femara does not affect your CM or thin out your uterine lining.

yes i do have pcos, I have already taken 5 rounds of clomid with metformin and have yet to ovulate. I had ovarian drilling two weeks ago and i am suppose to start femara soon.

Hello. We have been TTC for 3 years.I had ovarian Cyst removed in 2003 and doctor found some endometriosis and cleared it. We did 3 IUIs before we did 2 IVF no succes. We changed our RE and he started me on clomid the first month for clomid challenge test. My FSH came back 9.2 on both day 3 and day 10. I am 30 years old, so he said this was little on the high side. DH did SA and morphology is only 4% normal. RE put me on Femara this month and did IUI again, unfortunately did not get pregnant.

The correlation between breast cancer and estrogen related ovarian cancer is being studied, and the theory is if they work for breast cancer patients, they may work for estrogen related ovarian cancer, as well. For me, Aromasin has kept my cancer stable for the last 9 months. I encourage you and your mom to speak to her doctor regarding trying a different Aromatase Inhibiter IF Femara doesn't seem to work for her, or causes side effects.

I had 6 IUIs using clomid before and got pregnant but unfortunately I miscarry at 6 wks at most. So my doc suggested Femara on my CD 2 for five days just as Clomid. I was supposed to have an IUI on Tuesday. I had an E2 test yesterday counted 61.94 though I developed 5 eggs ,he said it's low and must have another tomorrow and see if it increases or else he would cancel the IUI . So does Femara causes a drop in the E2 level? Is this normal?it's my very first time to use Femara!

Hello these are really encouraging comments that I am going to share with my dr on friday, I was on clomid before ivf and after 3 cycles it gave me a cyst. we went on to ivf and had 3 failed cycles so now are trying again natuarly.

When I take chemo, my CA125 gets higher. So, I hope the Femara works for you. If your cancer is like mine, you are lucky, and Femara will help. I live a normal life until the med wears off, about every two years. I have had no side effects that I am aware of.

) for me last night i saw my OB GYN for the regular monthly check, and unfortunately my cyst is back and is large too (6 cm) i was shocked he told me that i have to hold for sometime and that i cant have IVF done with the cyst that large so we need to stop any femara or clomid and try BCP this month and check again next month to see how the cyst is doing I didnt know what to do because according to my RE its ok to try with femara even while having the cyst i was totally confused ,but i decid

I am taking Femara and I am on 5 mg cd3-7 I would love to hear any sucess stories and how long before you got that BFP. If you were taking anything else with it. I am also taking metforin 500mg a day. I also have PCOS. Share your good news here.
