I get a similar feeling in my throat. I'm 18 and I've been smoking off and on for four years. Sometimes its just phlegm clogged up in the back of my throat, other times it happens if i have too many cigarette's in one day i get this weird feeling when i swallow feels like a lump.
I don't know if its the same thing as you. But i would just quit, easier said then done right?
My stomach almost feels like I've taken a laxative. It's upset and turning but no throwing up either.
What it feels like to me is "stuck in my craw." This diagram shows what looks like a little pocket at the base of the tongue, just forward of the epiglottis. It feels like some food gets into that little pocket and won't wash out. This is especially worrisome when It's a pill that feels like it's stuck in there, and may harm the tissue, perhaps making a bigger pocket and exacerbating the problem.

I also get a weird metallic taste in my mouth whenever the symptoms really flair up. Most of my pain also feels like it is at the top of my chest, not in the center or the back. I also feel burning sensations across my upper abdomen when the symptoms become very bad.
In all, I am probably just over reacting and causing unnecessary stress on myself, but I just wanted to know if I should go to the hospital or keep taking my medicine.
I start burping immediately and it seems like water makes me full. I also have heartburn/pain in chest/sternum area. I was diagnosed with both ibs and gerd recently but doctors dont seem to know why I have trouble with water, they just tell me to drink more . The most concerning part is that recently along with the pelvic pain, the right ovary area feels painful when pressed and the lower stomach area has been warm to touch.
so, in the past few months, I've been woken up out of my sleep by a weird stomachache. I can't really even explain the pain... it's localized entirely in my stomach, & feels like an almost cramping pain. it occasionally makes me feel somewhat nauseous, but not always.

For about 2 weeks now I've had an odd sensation in my upper stomach area. It feels exactly like a baby in the later stages of pregnancy moving around, but I'm definitely NOT pregnant. It does not hurt nor is it constant, but it is perplexing to me. What could this be symptomatic of?

I am now 63 years old and since April, off and on, I have had pain, feels like back labor. About three weeks ago, my stomach started getting bigger and bigger. I was big on the left side where the pain was, and now it is big on both sides. Looks like im five months pregnant.?? It feels like something in there is moving or something?? It's not exactly heart burn but a burning nauseous feeling in my throat. It constantly feels like I've eaten to much and its all sitting in my esophagus. Whenever I burp(happens frequently since I got pregnant) I have a sudden need to throw up. It's starting to drive me crazy. I feel so hungry while at the same time feeling like there is no room in me for food.
Anyone know how to relieve this?other than antacids which don't do a thing for me.

I am a type I diabetic, status post nissen fundoplication years age and have recently begun having extremely painful stomach spasms. Sometimes it is mildly annoying, other times it feels like a knife has been plunged in the middle of my stomach and twisted. This pain is not in my esophagus and I do not have heartburn. Any suggestions?
For the last few weeks I have been getting a burning sensation in my upper stomach which then brings on a pain between my shoulder blades. Sometimes my stomach just feels bloated and uncomfortable. The burning sensation becomes worse when I eat. The pain in my upper back can go from a dull ache to feeling like someone is trying to pull my muscles out!

Try not to eat before you sleep or lie down. Don't get over full. Your stomach is being pushed so high up so the room for food is quite small. I'd say a hot cup of tea ( caffeine free of course) with your meal. But try to drink after you finish eating. Sometimes if you eat and drink the food gets elevated but you don't get full so it causes your stomach to over fill. Go for a walk after you eat to help your food digest a but quicker.
