My 5 year old grandson as a fear of the weather. It started with the wind . Now it is it going to rain every 5 minutes of the day. Will not go outside to play. Cries if we are outside and the wind picks up or if it is raining. He fears for our safety His only focus each day from sun up to sun down is the weather. Are you sure he will out grow this. He will be starting kindergarden this fall .
I recently got a fear of having schizophrenia. I fear that out of no where I start hearing voices and seeing things. I have anxiety and panic attacks. I do go to a psychologist and a psychiatrist they said I have anxiety panic attacks. I do take medications but in a low dose. I dont hear voices or see hallucinations..etc. But Im really afraid that out of no where I start hearing voices or hallucinate. Has anyone else had this fear or has it. Could anyone give me some advice. Thanks....
I become so frightened during the period of time where I try to fall asleep that I simply do not do it. I find myself finding excuses to stay awake. It's not the sleep itself that scares me, it's the part where I lay in the dark and the silence. I'm afraid of all kinds of crazy things that don't bother me when I am not trying to sleep. I can't keep anything that is bothering me, any kinds of irrational fears, or any unusual superstitions out of my head.
So I have this fear that I think has sort've branched off of hocd?? It might be a little tmi. So I apologize in advance.
Because of hocd, I liked to check a lot. About 90% of that checking was googling things but some of it was checking porn or something of the like. And I did so recently and immediately I felt guilty. I've developed this fear that I am or will become addicted to porn or something. But if I was, I wouldn't be able to control it right?
My daughter had a strong very real fear of the wind at 3 for about 9 months. Now she is very afraid of the vacuum in our pool. She freaks out if a toy or floatie goes near the vacuum and it is never on in her prescence. I try to reason with her and show her it is not scary but she can't get past it. Is this fear normal? How should I handle it? By the way, she is no longer afraid of the wind. She understands it now.

This issue with her not wanting to eat from fear of choking on her food or it getting into her wind pipe is VERY common for people with anxiety. I have this to. It's as if when our throats get tight from the anxiety it makes it difficult to swallow. I'm very sorry to here about her having to go through this. She is far from being the only one. I also go through this and have had food and pills get stuck in my throat making me panic wanting to call an ambulance.
Ftm, It's so weird all of a sudden I got this wind of tiredness... I'm 33 weeks and 4 days and all I want to do is sleep. I take 2, 3 hour naps and still go to bed and sleep ALOT! But I can't wait til my little boy is here! Due February 21st! Anyone else feel this way?
I’ve tried every possible remedy, the only thing that mildly helps is a teaspoon of bi-carb with a mouthful of water. Now I’ve had all test via blood and my CA125 is raised to 43. My scan came back normal, but my doc is still sending me to rapid access gyny..... obviously my brain is working overtime and I’m very nervous.... but, the problem does to me and my family sound more gastric/colon, area. As I’m writing this I have the urge to push hard into my stomach and “push” the gas out.
no such thing as trapped wind,,,you would have to be swallowing most the air your breathing for it to be trapped,and then you would be burping alot is all,you got some other undiagnosed issue you need to see a doc for.
if it gets you retching and you vomit,,its something a little more serious then "trapped air'as you say.
ok so tomorrow il be 38wks (wooooooh) but in the last four day I noticed that I seem to have a lot of well wind lol and some times I can't control it just wondering anyone else had this? Also I noticed a sharp pain over the past week shoring from the top to the bottom of my vagina is it normal?
I have a really bad belly.. Just under my chest, its aches all the time. Heartburn all the time & acidy throat & wanting to throw up, could this be trapped wind & causing all the pain? I'm taking Rennie's seem to ease the pain but still comes back.
I have IBS and am used to the constant constipation and runs which happen frequently, usually set off by stress. But recently I have been suffering from constant wind after eating. I cannot put it down to any food, whatever I eat seems to trigger it. Its so bad and so embarassing at work I just don't know what to do. Please help.
