fear of vomit

For as long as I can remember I have had a massive fear of vomit ( not vomiting, fear of others puking) when ever I even think about someone throwing up it gives me anxiety. When I see someone even about to I start panicking. I live in an apartment complex and someone threw up in the parking lot and now I'm scared to go out there. It's makes me panic and want to cry.

am an a student nurse and a vomit of HIV positiv patient falls on my leg and i was having simple scratch on my leg and there were no pain at all when i press the scratch also its been healed and it was so small and i did blood test of elisa after 35 days and it was negative thank god and just i want to mention that the patient first vomit in a bowel and later on after 2 seconds its falls on me so just i want to know that is there any risk and do i need another test after 3 month ?

I've just gotten over the flu, I had it last week and didn't throw up until the next week. That was about three or four days ago I only threw up twice and it was very little. The medication they had me on was hydrocodone and tamiflu. I haven't had any more symptoms of the flu I feel better,but I still fear of throwing up.

I have really really bad anxiety. Specifically emetophobia (fear of throwing up). I get severe panic attacks and have anxiety pretty much all day, every day. I am perscribed 100mg of Pristiq which I make sure to take every day. Im in college, and I am finding it hard to do my work, go to class, and have fun because this anxiety holds me back so much. I have been in therapy several times but never found someone who would actually take my phobia as serious as it is.

now I am rather paranoid person and I did not have any cuts on my hands as I looked the next day and I do not recall having any of her vomit on my hands. I am just wondering if her vomit did get on my hand, is there any risk for HIV transmission? I have read that vomit doesnt transmit unless there is visible blood and clearly i did not stick my hand in it.

It is now starting to effect what she eats, obviously associating what ever food she has eaten near an episode of seeing someone vomit. She has always been a good eater, a good varied diet, but her fear is now starting to cause restrictions. When she remembers seeing someone vomits, she suffers from cold sweats and nausea, and her whole body starts to shake. It feels EXACTLY like vomit... I'm petrified of vomit so please don't tell me to throw up! It feels warm and kinda chunky, it only goes up as far as the back of my throat, but I think it's because my body is stopping myself from vomiting and I'm glad really, but why is this happening? I've had this for months now and it's worse on some days and some days it's ok-ish.

due to this i always feel as if i need to vomit but i have such a great fear of vomiting it just makes me anxious and the nausea gets worse. i suffer from this on a daily basis. i need some answers or something so i can try to figure out how to help myself. i anybody had any ideas on what i could do that would be great. thanks!

Some of the ingredients of our pets foods are pretty dang scary and with dire consequences as you have seen first hand. Many of these contain meat &/or other additives from China that are questionable. Tell us the name of the product, brand &/or ingredients. Don't know if the same one is avail here in US or Canada, if they are I will find some info for you, just may take a few days I'm kinda bogged down rt now.

All I want is a real answer. Can vomit transmit hiv or not? Some sites say yes, and others say no way. If vomit touched my hand, and then a few minutes later I got a cut in the same spot, without washing my hand yet, am I at risk? Im so sick of thinking about this. Has anyone ever gotten hiv from vomit?

Every once in a while my 3 yr old will vomit with no signs or symptoms of anything being wrong with her. Then go right back to acting normal after the fact as well. Her pediatrician seems to think its b/c I give her to much juice could this be right?

Well im 5weeks pregnant and this morning I ate grapes to start off my morning but it didnt work it came right back up. When I feel it coming on I eat a peppermint but it doesnt help meh even with zofran I vomit so wat ur going through is nuthing..im 19 with my first child and everytyme I go to the toilet I dnt have to beg it just comes. Hello, I've been suffering with anxiety from the fear of throwing up ever since i can remember, and i had for about 2 years straight in 7th and 8th grade then they went away, never and worried about till now, im in 10th now and i finally did throw up and now i freak out every time i get a stomach pain, jkust wandering if theres any techniques or somewhere i can go to make this stop, ik i won't throw up since i just did a month ago but like my mind keeps thinking i will..

Not sure why you wouldn't be eager to see a therapist. It would give you someone not close to you to talk to who is a professional and can offer some insight and help. As to the label of what you have, while it sounds like depression started first and now it's shifting to also be an anxiety problem, a professional will be better able to help with this than us. I would see a psychologist, not someone like a licensed social worker.

You said she gets her self worked up every evening and has a fear of eating it could be possible she to has a psychological problem causing this to occur such as fear of going to bed, a fear of going to school the next day, or possibly even anorexia. You said she doesn't know why she vomits and that is probably the case, she may be stressed over something either at home, or school and is either blocking it out or is embarrassed or afraid to talk about it.

And what are the different types of fundopliction? Assuming that the surgery is a success the first time, what are future side effects, post op precatutions and overall effectiveness in the long run?

At the end of high school i reldeveloped my anxiety disorder and delt with it pretty well over summer. College is starting and i now have a new fear now and thats a fear of becoming depressed. The problem is that i can't really decide in my head if im becoming depressed or not. I dont really know if im sad or not i can't make up my mind. these thoughts about depression however, seem to be fleeting as they don't stick around that often.

hello i am 20 yrs guy suffering from jaundice and its quite a serious then other people suffering from it, while eating food vomit may try to comes if i want to think not to vomit and controlling to eat the food slowly then only i can eat and if i try to eat it faster then i will have to vomit and also after having meal also the vomit may try to come. so anyone please can u help me?

There is no way you are going to get pregnant using a restroom. How old are you and how long has this fear of pregnancy been going on? Do you see a psychologist?

I've had this problem for a little while now, but it's been getting worse. During the night, I sometimes wake up with the sensation of have a fleck of spit caught in the back of my throat. Like I've accidentally inhaled a bit of saliva. I've tried looking up people having similar problems, and a lot of people mention mucus or phlegm or catarrh, but I distinctly mean spit. It's like when you accidentally inhale a bit of water.
