314833 tn?1263259499 The first one was having my husband propose to me on the night of the Fourth of July, and my second is, well...getting married over Labor Day weekend! My biggest fear about becoming an adult, hmmmm...probably facing the actual reality of it all. Establishing a successful career, paying bills, finding a wonderful man to marry (check that off the list...got him!), raising kids...all that stuff that comes with being an adult and requires so much responsibility.

Avatar m tn U sound like me. I'm so very sorry for ur loss of ur parents! When did that happen? Now to ur question. Each and every night I fear I'm going to have a heart attack and freak out. It is just anxiety. I have been telling myself...."I'm ok....I survived last night and felt just like this....docs told me I'm ok" keep a journal with ur symptoms. So when u feel light headed with arm pain for example u can look in ur journal and see u had it before and u survived. Just pray.
Avatar m tn Hi All, back at the end of November I met a girl in a club and subsequently went home with her. I was quite drunk so my memory of the night wasn't perfect. I believe the first time we were going to have sex I had a condom but don't think I could manage an erection due to being drunk but I did perform oral on her. In the morning we had fully protected sex with a condom and I fingered her a fair bit.

Avatar f tn My son is 13, he is so scared of the dark, we have put him a night light in his room, he has fish tank that we leave the light on, we also have a fishlight on in the hallway and one in the bathroom, not to mention he has a big security light just outside his window. I have started letting either his sister or his little brother sleep in the room with him because he has two twin beds. This is the only way we all can get a night of sleep.
595125 tn?1219834270 What you descrive is a panic attack when you have this intense fear, then you become afraid of the fear and so on until it becomes a vicious circle. You came to the right place! You should browze a lot of these threads as you will quickly see that you are not alone in your fear and anxiety and you will perhaps learn from how others have coped with it.
Avatar n tn m not sure how that forum is more relevant than this one.. The immune system thing is only a tiny part of the problem (I mentioned it in relation to my throat problems). The question itself is ALS-oriented, or at least BFS.
Avatar f tn Then he put on a condom, before he could get the head of his penis good inside of me i asked him to stop. The next day i asked my did he have anything and he got very offended. He stoppd speaking tp me.. 3 weeks later i got tested for STD and everything came back clear, On April 15,2010 I went to my doctors and got HIV tested, becasue o was always nasuse, tired, and forgetfull. Nothing came back, now i have lower abdominal pains and jus now ive been having what i think are night seats.
Avatar f tn However, I am concerned about the episode of unprotected intercourse from the perspective of all other STDs. As with herpes, getting another STD through one intercourse is low, but certainly not zero. If I were in your situation, I would go in for testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia about 10 days after the encounter, then be tested for syphilis, HIV, hepatitis B and C and herpes in about 3-4 months (although the HIV test will likely be accurate before then).
1933343 tn?1336242468 I have a fear of contamination and of contaminating others, and this episode is just awful. I have had issues with hiv fear, rabies fear, staph fear, and on and on. I don't know why things like this seem to continue to follow me. I know it soumds so bizarre, but this really happened. I would like to take them back to the store and sue them, but I know there is no way that I can prove that I was the only one who wore them after purchasing them.
Avatar f tn What i mostly think about is disapearing from this world forever, being swallowed by infanite darkness, and being so easily forgotten by this ever-moving world. The fear of no longer existing haunts me in nights depriving me of sleep and giving me only uncontrollable shuddering in the darkness. Is there anyway to escape this fear? is there a way i can have my restful nights back?
Avatar n tn She has slept with me since she was about 5 or 6 years old. She is afraid of the dark and afraid to sleep alone. She takes medication for anxiety at night. She has to have the door shut and will only sleep in my room with me. It is now to the point where she is questioning evey noise she hears and wants me to take her in thew bathroom in the middle of the night. What can I do to get her over this fear?I have tried everything.
Avatar n tn I know you said that I have nothing to worry about, but all these symptoms coupled with the fact I slept in the semen and the fear it might have gone to my urethra or that because of oral ( fear of gums bleeding) just makes me extremely nervous. I've never had such symptoms until this incident. I should be happy my 7 week came out NEG but then all this new things keep popping up.
Avatar f tn I believe I have thanatophobia, I'm a 18 year old male and I've had countless sleepless nights because of panic attacks some worse then others and not always at night, once I got one on my train ride to school 3-4 years ago and it was after a bad fight with my girlfriend. My bialogical dad died when I was about 11-12 and I believe I have the panic attacks because of that.
Avatar f tn If you knew they could help you out. We fear the fear. Sounds stupid I know. But it is true. You have no idea what the medication might do. But yet you fear it. So no medication. Have you tried theraphy? Talking things out. Getting a few ideas back. That's how it works. You are just stuck in a rut. Feeling like there is nowhere to go. But yet there is answers out there. But you fear those answers as well. At some point you are going to have to put one toe in the water.
Avatar m tn Second, approximately how long will reduction or cessation of drinking take to bring the AST down? Third, my Bilirubin is 0.4 (normal), so, should I still fear Cirrhosis which i have no way of knowing if I have, or does the normal bilirubin give me some comfort?

Avatar m tn consider using over the counter items such as a low dose of Benadryl which is safe and is not addictive. if it is anxiety that keeps you up at night, consider purchasing a cd for Deep Muscle Relaxation from a bookstore such as Barnes and Nobles, they are amazing. for a sample video or audio of relaxation tapes, seach on Youtube and try it out.
