In january of 2007 i developed hyperthyroidism, i was 20.
Elite athlete till that hit me. my TSH was .05 i believe when it started.
Iodine uptake came back close to zero, so i was diag with thyroiditis, silent because no pain.
The hyperthryoidism phase lasted a good 5 1/2 months (took propranlol all during that), followed by hypothyroidism that i have had since then, which was june.
An echocardiogram would be appropriate to determine if there is any heart wall movement impairment, size of heart chambers, the amount of blood pumped into circulation with each heartbeat, etc. If you had a silent heart attack, you may not have any symptoms until heart failure when the heart is to weak to adequately pump enough blood to meet the oxygen demand.
I am assuming the MI is ischemic (lack of blood flow to the heart). It is estimated about 26% of the heart disorder population have had a silent heart attack and are unaware. I had had a silent heart attack about 5 years ago, and the first symptom was congested heart failure. Heart cells where ineffective in contracting the ventricle due to a lack of blood supply.
It's difficult to say if your anxiety is causing the pain upon exertion or your fear of it, is causing it and the panic attack. If you're not being treated for your anxiety, this is where your focus needs to be right now. Normally when one has chest pain upon exertion, anything to do with the heart would be revealed in testing. Since tests have ruled out your heart, get help with the anxiety and go from there. Maybe once your anxiety is under control, your chest pain will go away.
38 weeks & 6 days today . Went to the doctor Friday for regular appointment, was 1-2 cm dialted. Later around 10 last night saw blood, didn't think much but went to hospital anyway. After this period, my values were normal. My doctor thought it was a case of silent thyroiditis. During this time, an ultrasound showed enlarged lymph nodes around my thyroid and a thyroid nodule but my doctor didn't think a biopsy was needed. Anyone out there with this condition? The sites I've visited so far don't really mention anything about it being a recurrent condition. Could it be something else?
No way no how do I want to worry about this. I am going down hill quick though. The fear that I might of placed my family or me at risk for this virus is terrifying. I have never been so scared in my life.
Go to the doctors and get tested. I know logic, I am just scared, embarrassed, and drunk with all the what ifs?
oraquick test after 22-24 days to exposure? any thoughts?

Have they ever checked you for a pituitary tumor (different kind of MRI, dynamic with and without contrast), which can cause headaches? Have you gotten checked by a neuro-opthamologist about the blurred vision? Gotten a field of vision test? With the sensitivity to fast moving things, have you ever gone to an ENT and had a VNG test? I don't have silent migraines that I know of. I can get aggravated by fast flashing images on tv and have light sensitivity as well sensitivity to reading.

s having bad thought about getting in an accident or recently we went to a demo derby she was fine for the first half of it then all of a sudden she went down hill crying, shaking, just in all out fear of something bad happening. t stop wondering what couldve happened in Peru or if my boyfriend is a silent carrier of the virus, if he is a silent carrier would it have taken this long 4-5months to develop my 1st outbreak? I typically do not have any symptoms at night and I usually feel good in the morning. Symptoms usually start occurring within 30 minutes of getting out of bed. I have trouble sleeping from time to time. These symptoms started about the time I found out my mother-in-law that cares for my kids had to have triple bypass.

I have seen my PCP several times. First he said asthma and prescribed the Advair inhaler, which I'm not sure if it helps or not.

We cannot control everything in our lives. The sooner a person with OCD gets that into their head the better. I don't avoid situations. I give blood all the time and of course I'm HIV negative. You are right in that you cannot get HIV from donating blood.
This medication is known to help people lose weight and is actually prescribed as such in some countries. I think it was the combination of going off of the Zoloft and starting on the Topamax that caused the weight loss. I recently was prescribed Abilify and started gaining weight immediately. I stopped taking it. Good luck!
