Avatar f tn Any suggestions about what may be causing this? I checked my blood sugar the other day and it was normal. My blood pressure is also mostly normal, with the exception of my diastolic occasionally running a little high. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Avatar m tn EKG was normal, and ER said blood work was fie, but according to lab results his MCH is high (30.4), MCHC is high (35.7), RDW is low (12.0), and basophil % is high (1.3). What does this mean?
Avatar f tn My daughters symptoms are mainly low blood pressure, low heart rate, low blood sugar, headaches, dizziness, fainting, weakness, and occasional seizures. There are too many symptoms to list really though. Her treatment right now is Florinef, Ritalin, Midodrine, and saline hydration therapy through her PICC. I just take Florinef.
748618 tn?1233130901 A low blood sugar when you are not on diabetes medication does not indicate diabetes. In untreated diabetes the blood sugar level is high. The cholesterol could be high due to a metabolic disorder or due to your eating habits. You need to eat a balanced diet with right proportion of all ingredients like carbohydrates, fats, proteins and vitamins. Also the meals need to be taken at regular intervals.
Avatar f tn Have they Checked your iron levels? Hypoglycemia or even high blood sugar can cause fainting and dizziness. I would have a friend or family member near by just in case anything happens especially if your husband is working etc.
Avatar n tn if we are not aware of our own signals for falling blood sugar, or if we have lost the ability to sense when our blood sugar is falling.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else experinced a fainting/passing out moment? Definitely not from low blood sugar.
Avatar f tn , have taken thyroid medication since I was 12, have high blood pressure. For years I will occassionally get these mild blackout spells. I don't completely blackout, but things go sort of gray, I get a tingling in my right arm, my body feels weak and heavy, I get heartburn or stomach pain with these. Taking one Aspirin helps. My blood pressure sometimes is high and sometimes is low when these "spells" come on. They do see to happen more when I am under stress or worrying.
Avatar n tn Has anyone had a low blood sugar level during pregnancy im 8wks & 2days and i swaer im going to drop to the floor im not due back to my doctors till i am 12 wks.
4545793 tn?1394592544 I'm 16 weeks and last week i fainted but, did not loose total consciousness. I do pass out quite often even before pregnancy. Low blood pressure is my cause. I've read low BP low blood sugar and dehydration all can make you pass out. If you start to feel light headed dizzy or even flushed/hot all of a sudden do your self a favor and lay down on the floor or wherever you are. Don't just sit lay all the way down your blood will even back out quickly and you should be fine!
Avatar f tn dehydration like the other ladies have said, low blood sugar level (which I have) its horrible...out of the blue I will just get so dizzy, start to sweat, feel like I'm going to puke and faint at the same time. What helps is sipping on something with sugar (like juice) and getting a candy bar and slowly eating it...just to get your sugar level up. Anemia could also be the reason too..especially when its really hot out. And the fact that you're Pregnant, thats a big one too!
Avatar f tn Sounds like it could be blood sugar level (not blood pressure). Talk to your doctor. This happens to me when I've not eaten recently or enough. Eating will rectify it. Try keeping crackers in your purse or near you. Anyway do talk to your doctor about this.
Avatar n tn It could be that your blood pressure shot up or maybe your blood sugar got too high or low. If your still not feeling well today you could go to a med center. Do you have any of those close to you? The headache is what has me concerned. I'm not trying to scare you but it possibly could have been a stroke. The med center can check for all the things I mentioned. Please let us know what you find out.
Avatar f tn I agree with what super Sally wrote. Best option is to eat a low carb, moderate protein with balance of calories from fats, like olive oil, nuts, grass fed butter, etc. not sure beans and lentils are good for you, as this causes increase in sugar in blood from high carb content. Also don't be afraid to eat fats.
Avatar f tn i was around 11-12 weeks and i didnt really eat yet as i was getting groceries... my blood pressure and sugar were really low...
Avatar n tn I went to the ER not long ago and I was told I had very high blood sugar, I had not eaten anything for more than 8 hours other than toast.
