When I was taking birth control I would get a dry skin rash on my cheeks and forehead. I am taking allergy medivatipn but it is not helping. I can put lotion on at 7 am and my face will be dry again by noon. Does anyone else have this rash?. What do you use that helps with it?.
ive recently been getting red, dry itchy burning skin, and it appears in the same places all the time. in my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose, both my cheeks, and along my jawline on each side. it usually goes away for a while, but it always comes back. i took some pictures today if anyone would like to see them. it looks so horrible this morning that i had to stay home from work. it also goes into my gotee and moustache, turning them both red and burning, and also cause flaking.
I've had this for three days now. My face started getting itchy (kinda like how it would feel from really dry skin). I have tried not to scratch it, so I've just rubbed it a little or wash my face. I found out that washing it releives the itchiness a little. After I wash my face, I've noticed that the redness gets worse but then just goes away in about an hour. My skin is rough and feels like I have little tiny bumps on it. What is this.
Other differentials for a rash will be psoriasis , a fungal infection or a viral infection. You have noted of dry skin along the hairline. With regards to the rash, would you be able to identify any scales in the area also? Psoriatic rash may involve the scalp and they may present with some patches of scales. There are cases of psoriasis which do not present with the scales. As for seborrheic dermatitis, they may present with some dryness and flaking of the scalp.
I put this mask on my face yesterday for 10 minutes to help my dry skin. i rinsed it off after 10 minutes like it said to do but when i did i got red splotches all over my face and my face became even more dry. i can't even touch my face without it hurting, and i need a way to make this rash, or whatever it is, on my face go away. i have really sensitive skin, which could be one of the reasons this happened. thanks so much!!

Hello ladies im 32wk+5days and so for weeks now my face like my jaw line and neck have been super itchy! like nothing works. I dont have a rash. Its not dry skin. Ive tried lotions. Face masks. Everything. Nothing works. Idk what to do. When i get itchy i like wanna rip my skin off cause its so itchy!! Anyone have this? any advice?
i have sensitive skin and use the Biore Night Serum over my eyelids when they are dry. or use Ponds on the face.
May just be a rash or a form of dry skin, an allergic reaction, I'd suggest going to see a family doctor or a dermatologist, he'd probally prescribe you with a cream to mend the itching and eventually take away the rash/bumps.
The rash doesnt itch at all but it makes my face feel really hard and dry. The rash is spread all over my face especially around my hairlines and didnt get any better using cream my doctor prescribed me for my face. I've stopped using gel and shampoo js to see if that was the problem, but nothing has made it better. For someone whos never had even pimples before, this is quite frustrating.

I use a wash cloth and gently scrub my face with soap. Dove and Olay work the best for me, don't over dry the skin. Then I pat dry and put Clean and Clear Persa Gel, works wonders! If my face gets dry, which it does every time the season change, I use Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment. Burt's Bees also works beautifully on vanishing past acne scars.
I have severe dry skin on my upper arms back head stomach neck and face the skin flakes off like I'm shedding like a lizzard also I have red races over my body as well. Sunday morning I woke up and noticed some sort of irritation on my face, it starts below my eyes down my cheeks and to my chin. That night I took a bath and put some lotion on it to see if it would help the dryness, when I did that it stung a bit. Monday Morning I woke up and my face feels tight. Like a thicker layer of rash, it's not red but it's got really tiny bumps not big enough to really see, but you could feel it when you rub your hand through it.
