After 3 months in the gym (3 times per week) I have increased my weight to 71kg so things are going to plan. However, due to the fact that I dont see my friends each week until the weekend as I work shiftwork and work out etc, I am prone to consuming a large amount of alcohol at the weekend. (I know, I know!!).
Avatar n tn Perhaps you do not need to decrease your basal as much when you run in the morning (so get more insulin during or rather after your runs). Exercise makes the effect of insulin more dramatic, but if you have way too little insulin in you, exercise can make your blood sugar go up quickly. It has also happened to me before.

However, lately I have been getting headaches along with dizziness after heavy cardio exercise, and they are becoming more common and increasing in intensity. After exercise, I will see bright spots in my eyes (if I close them), and headaches on the side and above my eyes. Furthermore I become very sensitive to light and my vision will get blurry.

It's fairly uncommon to have high blood pressure at your age, so you should definitely get this examined to see if you have any underlying disease that may cause it. Many of those diseases greatly increase your chance of premature beats; hyperthyroids and excess production of catecholamines (adrenaline, etc) to mention a few. As the doctor also asked: How high is your blood pressure? And how is it measured?

Since the stress levels suffered by EMTs in emergency situations, your heart rate may prevent you from getting and keeping a job. Alot of time exercises that are aerobic bring down the heart rate. Biking, swimming, low impact aerobics and power walking are good exercises that will give you a good workout without raising your heart rate too high.

I exercise (run about 3 miles) every other day and the exercise absolutely helps me feel less stressed and often relieves bad days of palps. I recently stopped taking my cardizem and am doing the sinatra solution... I bet the online doc and your own cardio will say something similar. Best of luck...
Avatar m tn To preserve you vision live a healthy life, don't smoke, if you drink alcohol do so in small amounts, watch your weight and diet, exercise, deal with stress in a healthy manner. Have your eyes checked yearly if possible. IF you have children or grandchildren they are much higher risk of having the same problems and should be checked about age 2 to 3 years old.

Avatar n tn one thing i want to say is please, please when you take your son to the Dr. get 2, 3, 4 opinions before allowing them to diagnose him with ADD, ADHD or whatever, and especially before starting him on any meds. they can be more dangerous than the behavior.

Avatar f tn My son is SO much happier now----- this was for him not anyone else---- not me, not teachers JUST FOR HIM. Now your child is only 3 and this is probably the first preschool experience. He/she may be just adjusting and you can watch and see for sure and they may grow out of it. But what the school is telling you is that out of all the kids that same age and maturity level that they see---- your child is standing out.

Your genotype is an easy one to treat and for people who relapsed with intereferon, they have an excellent chance of reaching svr with pegaltated interferon and ribavirin. After 3 years of try ing different doctors we finally found one at Childrens specalized hospital and i think they have them all over she was put on tenex and she is like a new child calm, relaxed and she also has adhd and odd.I would ask your doctor about it, but you really have to get rid of him.

I also need to start working out. When I used to work out I had so much energy and I weighed 105 now i weigh 120!!!! OMG I am only 5 feet tall. I have a gym that i belong to right near my work.
