299260 tn?1304219705 I have to wait six more weeks at least to find out if I can keep this baby. I would rather just not be pregnant than to be pregnant with just one since I have this disorder that we do not want to pass on. Also, we went through this fertility journey just to end up with the same result as if we just tried naturally. What a waste of money too since we have no fertility issues.
11294269 tn?1422406507 I am overweight, since before the baby of course. I originally planned to lose weight before getting pregnant but our blessing happened sooner than planned. I will be discussing exercise with my obgyn at my next appointment but i wanted to know what kind of exercise so you ladies doing to keep healthy doing pregnancy? Is there such thing as dieting during pregnancy (counting calories, not starving oneself dangerously)?
299260 tn?1304219705 I was sooo sick when I was pregnant, and took medicine constantly not knowing I was pregnant! The first 3 months are the most important, but those little ones stay tough! Good luck to you! Don't get discouraged if your test on Sunday is -ve, because it will still be early, but it is a good start date to test! :) Keyan- You're welcome! I'm always checking on my friends! :) I'm so glad af still hasn't shown for you! That's a great sign that your temps are still up too!!!
Avatar n tn I am happy to report that after taking a probiotic (my nuripath pharmacist said any multi form will do) and some "noni" juice, I haven't had the "flu" after exercise. Although I must add that I did cut my routines down in intensity and did get a mere cold (no where near that the harrowing symptoms I did have).
Avatar n tn The last couple of years I haven't done as much as I used to and I really regret it, especially after getting pregnant earlier this year, once I got pregnant it was just too hard to start up again and I get tired way too easily. My advice for women who are ttc is to get into some type of excersise routine asap, it makes it so much easier later on and will probably make a pregnancy a little easier in some ways too.
Avatar n tn Sometimes women can have naturally occuring variations and spotting in their cycles without pregnancy as a factor. There are many factors that can cause those variations such as stress, changes in exercise routines, hormonal variations or even recent illnesses. Based on the information you have given, it is unlikely that you would be pregnant based on that event and the dates, but not impossible. If you miss your cycle on the 1st, take a pregnancy test. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn changes in routine, illness, stress, gaining or losing weight, new exercise routines, thyroid issues, a blip out of nowhere with our hormones. All normal and most women have occasional long cycles or missing periods.
303706 tn?1296879749 Does anybody know a good website on exercising routines/workouts for pregnant women?? Or does anybody have a good exercise routine you do throughout your pregnancy?? What would you recommend?
Avatar f tn Yes you can run. Lots of women keep up their exercise routines until their belly gets to be in the way so to speak. As long as you are not starting a new routine just because you find out you are pregnant. But there is nothing wrong with continuing an exercise routine.
Avatar n tn (higher potency) and if any pregnant women just need someone to talk to about your fears...i can help...first hand.... ***@**** thank you for not making me feel that i am alone in my addiction to these wonderful white pills.... thanks....hope to hear from anyone...this is my first time on thisi site......and yes i am an addict.....but only to the vikers......nothing else will do...don't drink, don't smoke....nothing but vicodin...what should i do?
Avatar m tn Is there any possibility you could be pregnant? Sometimes women will have spotting during pregnancy that can mimic a period, although usually it's lighter than menstrual bleeding. I know a few women who will occasionally have an irregular period, either coming early or late, with heavier or lighter flow, especially if they've been under a lot of stress, diet changes, new exercise routines, or new schedules.
Avatar f tn However if you like me worked out pretty regularly before getting prego there is the most amazing woman on pintrest she has some of the best routines for pregnant ladies and is so amazingly inspirational. I can't remember her name bit ill look it up and I'll post it.
Avatar n tn Yes, changes in exercise routines can actually definitely change your cycles.. i'm not sure why that is, but i've read it a few times before..
Avatar f tn If you had a tubal ligation, you are basically sterile and only one in a million women would have some kind of complication and become pregnant after that. So, I'm guessing you aren't pregnant. But periods can still be late as they are related to our hormones and our hormones can fluctuate. Have you been sick lately, stressed, changed routines. lost or gained weight, possibly have a slowing thyroid, etc? There are many reasons why hormones can make us late and most are not a big deal.
Avatar f tn I found a yoga routine for pregnant women on youtube that i do 2-3 times a week.
Avatar n tn Reasons for a late period include illness, weight gain or loss, stress, changes in routines, the holidays, new exercise regimes, etc. If you have trouble with your thyroid, this is a common cause of long cycles. So, I'd see if you get your period soon and if not, then go ahead and see your doctor. I had periods every three to four months for about a year and a half due to a slow thyroid. A doctor can examine you and help determine why your cycles are so long.
Avatar n tn women who don't get any exercise during pregnancy become progressively less fit as the months pass by---mostly because they are becoming heavier and heavier. A good exercise program (which can be built right into your daily lifestyle) can counteract this trend toward decreasing fitness. It can also give you more energy, as long as you dont exercise before bedtime.
Avatar f tn My Re says not to have intercourse for the first weeks, how long it depends from you how you feel. When you're pregnant you don't have the same fun when making love. Stay away from it for a while cause the uterus is very sensitive right now, many women even bled a little after sex.
Avatar n tn One of the things I realized is that most of the women on there with PCOS were overweight. I have some vanity pounds to lose but then who doesn't. I think I am pretty fortunate in that regard. Then I looked on wikipedia and it stated that PCOS is often not diagnosed so I am lucky in that regard as well. Let's talk about the symptoms that I do have. I think when I was about 14 I got my rear curves, at the time I attributed it to the neighborhood children not wanting to play kickball as much.
Avatar f tn Hello, I am a 24-year old female who has been suffering with urine dripping after I finish (or think that I have finished) urinating for over a year now. I have tried waiting a while before getting up and after getting up from the toilet but somehow as soon as I leave the bathroom urine manages to drip and my underwear gets wet. This doesn't usually happen randomly during the day, only after going to the bathroom. Also, I do not have this problem when laughing, sneezing, etc.
230972 tn?1224473726 Hi all - Im 26weeks pregnant and everything is well. Baby is growing well (ahead of schedule by 2 weeks) but well! I do get a very sore back etc but sometimes, particularily when i roll over in bed i sometimes get a very sharp stabbing/cramp type pain. Its like a brief shooting pain that quickly disappears. I have no bleeding and feel well so its not a concern as such but i was just wondering and checking that this type of pain is normal to occur. any help/ experiences will be appreciated.
Avatar f tn I have tried carefully watching what I eat. I have tried exercise routines. If I cannot control the compulsive need to consume baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, bread, cream of wheat... any carbs, really... I am not going to get anywhere.
921323 tn?1268679412 But as a result of this visual similarity, I’ve found that a good number of the posted comments were written in defense of this “miracle” diet, which combines supplementation with a hormone first detected in the urine of pregnant women (yep) and...a daily 500 calorie restriction. So I thought it was a good idea to readdress the issue, with a renewed focus on HCG this time. Drum roll please... I think the HCG Diet is a bad idea for at least three reasons.
14991338 tn?1447197306 To researcher09 - no I haven't had a 3d echo, I believe I had a Doppler echo? Same thing that they use on pregnant women, they even checked my valves leading to stomach to make sure they function we'll and there's no blockages. Also no, I don't have any prominent heart related deaths in the family, only my granddads brother, who was 45, he had several heart attacks and finally one after sexual intercourse, and was never revived.
216278 tn?1308864682 do you have any other suggestions for coping with the pain and fatigue, without meds? (kind of exercise, routines, foods, etc?) Nuprin isn't safe during pregnancy, right? (Just wondering) Thanks for your suggestions!
958842 tn?1266516199 Correct dietary practices and exercise routines are the first factors to contemplate in raising your fertility quotient and maintaining reproductive vigor. R.G. Godsen & C.E. Finch, in Definition & Character of Reproductive Aging & Senescence, state, "Dietary and endocrine manipulations can also slow the pace of ovarian aging.
Avatar n tn Has anyone had any trouble with weight gain following a miscarriage and D&C? I have actually gained more weight since the D&C than I did while I was pregnant. I'm wondering if it's a hormonal issue. It has been about 3 weeks since the procedure and I haven't started a new cycle yet. Any advice?
Avatar f tn Hello, I have been diagnosed with Chiari malformation 10 years ago and I had time to observe my symptoms, try to detect what is triggering them and come up with personal pain managing or pain resolving routines (with special workout routine I can restore normal CSF fluid and go from extreme pain to being pain free in just couple hours, I might write about that in another post).
