Avatar n tn In the mean time I have a question. Has anyone been able to maintain an exercise regimen while on tx? Weight training is a major part of my life and to not be able to train would crush me. However, it appears that fatigue is a major side effect of the tx. I've got to beleive that physical training would help to battle fatigue, or am I just kidding myself? Has anyone had any experience with this issue?

159619 tn?1538184537 From my reading, that is a good exercise routine for cardiac health. Plus, at this rate I can normally make my PVC's go away when they're acting up which is a real benefit. Lately, I've been reading more about using mets as a target, somewhere around 10 - 11 mets. For me that pushes my heart rate up to 90-95% of my max which I feel is not really necessary. I can push my mets up to 10 or 11, just to know I can but I certainly wouldn't want to that for an entire work out.

Ever tried zumba or Walk videos? Anything different. Also try increasing your calorie intake by a couple hundred for a day or so, then drop it by a couple hundred for a day or so.. Typically, that will jog you out of your plateau over the course of a couple weeks.

It's time to do some serious homework, but I'd drop the dieting, adopt a healthy diet you intend to follow regularly, increase slowly the amount of exercise you're able to do, and get some help from someone.

The result is very consistent, supplements may work for the short run, but the weight typically comes back. (and usually a bit more). But if you continue with the diet you described and exercise regimen, you will continue to lose weight. If you want to kick up the speed of it, try a different cardio routine, like an elliptical or stairmaster. Working new muscles will force the body to work as hard as it was in the beginning.

Avatar f tn I don't tell you not to try to convince people to do what you like to do, I just try to let them know in case they don't that what you do might not work for them and that doesn't mean nothing will work for them. The best weight loss diet I've ever seen is macrobiotics -- those people are thin and have a tremendous amount of energy! -- but I don't push it because I don't personally believe in it for other reasons (mostly it seems to make people nervous and judgmental).

Concentrate on eating more fresh veggies and lean protein, low/no fat dairy, etc. Limit fruit juices and opt for whole fruit (1-2 servings/day) because whole fruit has the added benefit of fiber. Opt for high fiber fruits, such as apples, pears, etc. Make sure you get plenty of exercise. 30 minutes, 3 times/week should be the minimum.

My problem is my weight, 10 stone 6 (i'm 5' 7'' dress size 10) has not moved. I am a fitness instructor so understand what I am doing but am desperate as I have tried every option. Avatar f tn but I notice the difference when im in the third month of my routine and fully developed up to 6 month of continues routine. if you want to see if you loose weight stop for 1week to help you muscle turn down and rest you will see the results but once you stop there is tendency you will not continue because you will become lazy. I suggest look pcos in positive way because its time for you to change your lifestyle.

Avatar n tn hi, working out an hour/day is great, no need to cut your food intake down because you are already working out, you need only to drink more water (especially warm) it will melt your extra fat off and and you will get your desired weight, if you still wanna try something, you must go for beyond weight management tea,a very good thing for weight management.
