My quick advice would be exercise until you're sweating profusely, lots of water during and after exercise, and lean proteins, veggies, and fruits throughout the day adding up to about 1200 calories per day. If you can eat five small meals rather than two-three larger meals. Cut out starches, pasta, and bread, but still get fiber into your meals. Good luck!

My body can't sleep if I haven't eaten enough during the day and so I have to compensate with a meal before bedtime so I can sleep properly. I exercise 5-7 days a week for at least one hour running or swimming, sometimes both adding up to 1 1/2 hours.

I will try the protein bars. Yes, I know that exercise is the main thing to lose weight and I've been slacking off. I must get back into that healthy habit. I have to lose at least 60 lbs for my heart condition. I feel very disabled at 256 lbs. That's why I will buy Herbalife. Thanks again.

Avatar f tn I'm sorry, but I totally beg to differ with the previous comment made of the weight not being sustained and coming back when you stop using medication. I personally know two people who had success with phentermine and have not gained back a single pound! One lost 80 pounds with phentermine and has kept it off for over 3 years. The other lost about 50 pounds and has kept it off for almost 2 years. I have a cousin who lost about 60 pounds for her wedding.

(full body, and bodyweight burns more calories because you are using more muscles. you want to choose 10 exercises to workout with for the workout and keep the reps around 12-15. As for diet, i am not a nutritionist but something you can do is make healthier substitutes for things like cookies.
