Avatar f tn I'm starting online courses to earn my Bachelor's Degree on March 17th. I do NOT have an Associate's degree yet. So, after 2 years towards my Bachelor's, will I earn my Associates? I'm sorry if it's such a random question, I just don't wanna ask my Enrollment Representative and look stupid.

Avatar n tn To provide a perspective, it is true everyone has different physiology, respond differently to therapy, etc, but in a general sense aerobic exercise is beneficial and recommended on a continuing basis....that would include at a brisk walk at least 3 time a week for a half hour. There should be some resistant training to maintain muscle tone and strength.
293845 tn?1227997530 I need your opinions girls! I have 50 credits towards a Elementary Education bachelor's degree with a 3.2 GPA. I will turn 21 in May. Im 17 weeks, baby due in July. This fall I registered for 2 classes (6 credits which is part-time) Art History and Infants and Toddlers. 777052 tn?1333504781 Luckily I don't have many college essays since I am going to a two year technical school, but I do have huge term projects. For many of them I had to write a Term Paper, with the longest one being a total of ten pages, that's including the cover page and works cited. I believe Term Papers are very similar to College Essays, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm very sorry, I'm not much of a help on this topic as I haven't received any true "Essays" yet.
Avatar f tn Do any of you guys go to college online? I'm looking for a new school.. I tried university of phoenix and didn't like it, I'm going for my bachelor's degree ..any suggestions on schools?
3151606 tn?1420356612 During an EP study, to test atrioventricular conduction, they artificially stimulate the atria at increasing speed until the AV node (the "gatekeeper") is starting to block impulses. This is known as the "Wenckebach point". One may think this is similar to max pulse (maximum HR during exercise) but that's not correct. When you exercise you release lots of adrenaline which both stimulate the sinus node and the AV node to allow more rapid conduction.
Avatar f tn High school diploma and an Associates degree. Also, currently applying to universities to study Pre Med. Have maintained a 3.5 GPA. Family history: My dad has a PhD in Cell physiology and my mom is a pediatric nurse, both in good health. All my grandparents are still alive, except one who recently passed away at the age of 94. Medical history: Eczema and asthma at birth, which I've grown out of a lot.

13864745 tn?1443685231 I studied all through my first pregnancy and up until now. My son is 17 months. It's easier than you think but you need to be committed. I am doing my bachelor's degree. I will say though you lose at least 2 weeks of studying when you give birth. But yes you should do it!people will say it is hard but it is not impossible!!
293845 tn?1227997530 thanks! I do plan on finishing school. I'm going back in the fall. I'll get my teaching degree, I might just not get into teaching right away but I'd always have that degree to fall back on. I completely agree with you on that one I love elementary kids. They have SO much to learn and I love being the one to answer all their questions. They're so pure and curious. it's fun p.s your pug is really cute!!
Avatar f tn Anyway, he warns about traditional treatment for ASDs in those with CFS as he believs they physiology is different and traditional treatment detremental. What I want to ask is he advised me to take 3 grams of salt daily to raise my BP however do you think that could increase the chances of stroke or pulminary hypertension depending which way the shunt is? or do you think low BP maybe a protective factor? thanks for you time and any advice gratefully received.
684175 tn?1295477838 I am having a blast being able to go the gym and get my workouts in. I have a 17 month old son who is absolutely wonderful. I work three days a week 12 hour shifts at night at the hospital as an RN on Sat, Sun, and Mon. I am going back to school in January. Classes will be all day on Thursday. Trying to get my bachelor's degree. I am just worried that my workouts will slow down and my eating habits will get worse. Any suggestions?
193609 tn?1292180293 Hey everyone! I am new to this forum, as I was just diagnosed today with PCOS after getting my blood test results to confirm my doctor's suspicion. My name is Cheyenne, I am 22 years old, and I work as a Legal Advocate for a Domestic Violence Shelter, and as a Domestic Violence Victim's Advocate for the Prosecuting Attorney in my county. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and start working on my Masters in March before going to Law School.
Avatar f tn I have posted here once before, but I am not too experienced in ADD. I am 23 years old. I wasn't even diagnosed with ADD until recently within the last 6 months. I struggled all my life through school. I am very smart. I could do average work without any sort of studying what so ever. Now I am trying to finish my bachelor's degree after years of going back and forth between colleges. I am determined. I would also like to pursue med school after my bachelor's degree.
Avatar f tn I'm in a similar situation with my fiance and he takes the car for work as well. In my spare time I either talk to my friends and family, clean up, rearrange things, go for a walk, or in my case; do homework since I'm finishing up my bachelor's degree. Reading is cool too and I also volunteer every now and again. Rides from people you know or any transportation service works wonders!
Avatar n tn How does crohn's and syncope fair with each disorder? My Daughter is scheduled for an electro physiology study, explain this procedure. This discussion is related to Syncopy.
1945565 tn?1330465775 I'm 28, bipolar I, and have been an RN for about five years. I love my job and highly recommend studying nursing if you have a true passion for helping people. I've had two different jobs, both which have been in ICU's and involve a lot of critical thinking, autonomy and are less task oriented than different areas of nursing. Nursing has allowed me to work full time and return to school to finish my bachelor's (which was paid for by the hospital I work for).
Avatar f tn I was pregnant my junior year of college, I went full time during my pregnancy and only took 2 classes after my son was born. So now, I took some summer classes to catch up what I missed last semester, and going back full time in the fall and will be graduating next spring with my bachelor's degree. It's not impossible to go to school AND be a mom, but it is hard, especially if you have a job to juggle in there.
Avatar f tn Ive been walking 20-30 minutes every dsy through out the entire pregnancy. Im currently 36 weeks and 2 days.
Avatar f tn Hi all! In 2008 I treated successfully and have been SVR for almost 3 years now. While I went through treatment, I made a "bucket list" of things I wanted to do before I died -one of those was to complete my college education that I'd put off for 25 years. Well, -I did it! Tonight I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration!

1323747 tn?1364806882 My BP has been all over the place and I wondered if that is typical of the beginnings of this. The first month after diagnoses my systolic pressure varied an extreme degree from a low of 60 to190. After a few months that settled down more and the diastolic then had large variations which really shocked me as before this on hypertensive meds (3 at one time) my BP had been stable at 120/80 for many years.
Avatar f tn My original due date was April 27th, then the 29th, but if I'm going off the first day of my LMP then I'm due tomorrow, May 1st. At this point, these dates are meaningless to me, and my sweet son will come when he's ready. I have no plans on getting induced, but I would really (reeeeally) like to have him out by May 12th so that I can attend my own graduation on the 16th (bachelor's degree!) and start to heal for my cross-country move on the 23rd.
Avatar f tn Decades ago, my slightly widened P-R interval was accidentally found during an EKG in a physiology class, and technically, I have first degree HB. The interval has not changed with time.
Avatar f tn A stress test will monitor your vitals and determine the degree exertion measured in METs and your physical fitness to determine degree of exertion in an exercise program that would be appropriate for you. How and when to take any medication should be made in consulation with your health provider.
