Avatar n tn I have continued to workout though, and still I have these infrequent bouts of nausea and vomiting while I'm working out. This never happened before my gall bladder surgery. My workouts are pretty intense, but the intensity doesn't seem to necessarily always bring on the nausea. When I start feeling sick, I'll feel some real tenderness if I push deep into my navel area. Sometimes it almost sounds like a little "pop" and feels as though gas is getting blocked or something.
Avatar n tn I don't feel stressed and why does it come on when I exercise or do heavy work? Isn't exercise supposed to relieve stress? I don't know if I am making it worse by plowing through or if that is the best thing to do.
Avatar f tn My 1st ever Journal Entry. Hmmmm what to put! Well.....like maybe most people who have created a log for this I am over weight. Not by much (I don't think) but enough to feel yucky. I'm 5 foot 7 inch & I'm just over 11 stone. Size 16/18 waist & the top is 20 as I'm very top heavy. I would like to weigh about 9 & half stone but I think I might look ill at that weight. We shall see. 1st goal is 1 stone off by Dec 12!

I was 229lbs in febuary and I am now 215lbs. People around me say that I lost a lot of weight but I dont see it! What am I doing wrong? Other people doing the same thing than me in my family has lost way more weight than me! What am I supose to do?

I tend to eat when I'm depressed and I tend to get lazy and skip exercise. My son is now 8 months old and I have since stopped taking the medication that made me eat like crazy. I want to be healthy for my son and right now, while I am not obese, I am weighing in at 188. I need help and motivation and some tips from you all to help me get on the right track.

We can also journal what we did .. in our exercise tracker ... then it is there for all to see and for us to encourage each other. Starting something after the new year would be fine and most appreciated and warmly welcomed. As for "teaching publically" .. try to think of it as helping friends. That's how I do it.
Avatar f tn I feel incredibly sad and depressed all the time. I've doubled down on my exercise routine, working out 30-45 minutes every single day (7 days a week). My heart rate and recovery time are excellent, and I feel okay for about an hour AFTER the workout, but the depression is back again. I'm NOT a "crying" type person (although I was when I was a lot younger.) My job is in sales; I own my own business, and have to cold call all day, every day.

Avatar n tn Both were within 30 minutes of strenuous exercise, and with both I hydrated before, during and after the workout with water and vitamin water — I hope it doesn't contain aspartame. After the workout, I went straight home, ate protein while watching TV. The small jagged circle, which had total fuzzy vision in the middle, slowly grew larger (then I could see fine through it) until it was gone within 30 minutes. No headache. Still interesting, and a bit disturbing. Beautiful, colorful shards.

By 32, I couldn't get pregnant, and my doctor found out I was in early menopause. My ovaries got an ultrasound, but didn't show cysts. My bladder was also checked and nothing was found. My blood test showed normal hormone levels, except for my FSH which was high.

I think with the phen u have to exercise some what to get the weight to come off, and I need energy to do it. I had lost about 10lbs and went back up about 4lbs so lost total about 6 lbs only since Nov 07'. I am looking for any help or advice!!!! Thanks for any advice.
Avatar n tn Unless the weight you carry is causing you life threatening problems - then and only then should you consider risks - I would recommend the old favourite - balanced diet, smaller portions - eating frequent small meals and exercise. This way you can change your lifestyle for the better without grasping for quick fix solutions which ultimately end up making you pile the weight on later on!
Avatar n tn C in April for a missed miscarriage and I've gained 8 pounds since. I've been keeping a food journal and exercise log and I'm eating 1500 calories a day, exercising 3 times a week, and I can't lose weight. Even worse, according to the scale on some mornings I've gained weight! I've been tested for PCOS and hypothyroid and they're both negative. My doctor had no explanation and suggested that I join weight watchers. Does anyone have a solution?

Because you are using your natural stored energy from the adipose, you do not need to eat as much food, but still burn off your regular daily calories. THIS is what makes you lose the weight. Avatar n tn This is the first Web site I've found where there are people with the same symptoms that I have. I am a 32 year old male who lives in Seattle, WA. I have Thalassemia minor and suffer mainly from ongoing fatigue. I am ALWAYS tired, no matter how well I eat or what vitamins I take. Doctors tell me that I'm fine and "just need to avoid Iron and do some aerobic exercise." I would exercise if I had the energy to. It's comforting to see postings from people all over the world.
Avatar f tn Last night I got 5 hours with out any help. I think the best thing that I did was to so some real intense exercise. I mean want to make you puke exercise. I felt like a million bucks for the rest of the day. I still kind of want my little yellow friends, but it's getting real easy to brush off the feeling. I can get them any time but haven't been tempted to call. I just think about them every so often.

BUT, everyone qualifies everything they say with, "but I'm really not sure." Can I just walk around a track right now? Isn't that kind of like walking at the mall? Can I do whatever I want as long as I keep my heart rate below X? The official word from my discharge is not to lift anything over 2 lbs. and to pretend like I had abdominal surgery.
Avatar n tn I've been coming to this site for 11 days and it has made it tremendous difference in my life, instead of reaching for an extra pill I log on! My concern is for the new addicts that log on everyday, if they see this kind of stuff they might not come back. Post your feelings and concerns but please do it in a way that if you read this from the outside looking in you would not be turned away. The last thing someone who needs help from this addiction needs is to see people going at each other.
Avatar n tn I've gained significant weight while on these drugs (despite an intense exercise program and careful diet). My nutritionist and MD told me that the drugs likely altered my metabolism, but no one can tell me how long it will take to correct that. Most frustrating, I've noticed that since I stopped taking both, my weight gain has accelerated. Any ideas as to how long I need to endure this or ideas for correcting my metabolism? Thanks.

298579 tn?1192250448 If I have sex or exercise or sometimes just walk, I get these horrible cramps in my lower abdomen and most of the time, I have to have a bowel movement. The cramps last for about 3-5 minutes. I have fibroids which may be pressing on my organs but it only happens during that two weeks before my period. I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem until reading these posts.

I am a personal trainer and I was having an extremely frustrating time loosing weight after the birth of my 3rd child. Yes, I washed my hair and conditioned it. I don't wear alot of make-up anyway so the only thing I changed was that I used a powder sunscreen and Bare Minerals powder concealer. I did wear mascara and removed it with oil free make-up remover.
