Exema medical condition

Common Questions and Answers about Exema medical condition

eczema

Avatar n tn It comes and goes depending on the seasons. One possibility is like you said psoriasis.. or possible exema. On the other more serious note, you could have the start of scabies, it usually starts on your hands and feet, between your fingers and toes. It just looks like little tiny blisters and if you pop them just clear liquid comes out. That is contagious and requires prescribed ointment to take care of.
Avatar f tn m getting them on my hands. I was told it has something to do with asthma. most important, is this condition contagious? I worry about my grandchildren getting affected. I don't know what to do, please help me. my foot dr. and my medical dr. keep sending me back and forth to each other. note, I have a foot dr. because of operations on both feet as a child.

Avatar n tn I suggest that your child undergo a skin allergy test to help identify possible triggers for her condition. One reason why your daughter’s skin condition is persistent may be the fact that, she is constantly exposed to a particular trigger. Does your child have any known allergies prior to this? Do allergies and asthma attacks or allergic rhinitis run in the family?
Avatar f tn I have 3 children, they all have this to some extent and our local doctors have no idea what it is. They have ruled out exema. It is worse in my boys than in my daughter. Their hands will get a white raised blister which will then peel off layers of skin. They are also sensitive to light (in case it helps) I've attached a photo of my oldest son's hands. Now they do look normal at times and then every couple months or so this happens, i've found it to be worse during summer months.
Avatar f tn My symptoms are little clear blisters on the passion of my left hand. My fingers are really dry, hot, red, itchy and swolen. It feels like they are throbbing around my joints. They ooze a clear liquid. There is a constant itch that doesn't go away. I been diagnosed with exema from the docs and I religiously use Aveeno cream and a steriod cream at night, I have used various different steriod creams to no avail. I am getting really depressed as the irritation and pain is constant now.
Avatar f tn I was currently using triamcinolone for an existing exema condition in other areas of my body. I called the nurse at my dr's office and she suggested that I use the triamcinolone cream on my face to clear up the reaction. It worked and in the months passing as I tried to get my facial skin back to normal, I used the triamcinolone locally, on occasion if I had another outbreak on my face. I fear that I may have skin atrophy in areas of my face now.

I know i can do to my dermetoligist for a biopsey to find out for sure but does anyone have any idea of what this may be. Avatar m tn it is usually an easy fix. it can also be caused by chronic problems such as diabetes, exema, and psoriasis. using soap or body wash with too many dyes or perfumes can cause an allergic reaction which can also cause balanitis. most of these events are usually one time problems and are solved with ointments or meds provided by your doctor. however, for men who suffer chronic repeated balanitis, research has been done to see if there may be viral causes, such as HPV.

Avatar n tn Hello so I'm 28 weeks along and I have a rash that just sprung up on my right arm. It covers my whole a and it itches and it looks like little bumps. I have a doctor appointment Monday but I was wondering what this might be. It's been there for a few days. I don't have exema and I haven't been anywhere close to poison oak.
Avatar f tn Anytime we have an itch issue, it gets pronounced when we are warmer, as in while covered up in bed, taking a hot shower or bath, or activity that gets our heart pumping faster or we are sweaty. I would recommend that you visit your primary medical doctor to see if he will investigate it or simply provide you a treatment with an antihistamine. You may be suffering from some allergies to foods or detergents/fabric softeners/lotions....
Avatar m tn About 6 weeks after exposure I went to a dermatologist who said it was very unlikely it was herpes she said penile dermatitis, a form of exema and I took the igg test, I tested positive for hsv1 which she said was probably an infection from childhood, and a 0.16 negative on the hsv2. She told me to stop worrying and it looked nothing like an std. I returned to My gp and he said basically the same thing after checking me again. Am I ok to stop worrying??
