t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

My insurance company recently switched fentanyl from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Their claim is that there are cheaper (to them) drugs available. I use a 100 and 25 patch plus "break out" drugs. Any suggestions?
It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. I use a generic weekly estradiol patch (.1 mg) and Prometrium (200 mg) every night due to extreme menopausal symptoms. I change my patch on Monday evenings. I bleed for several days beginning every other Monday. Could this be caused by the patch losing effectiveness before the week is up? Would switching to Vivelle Dot, which has a twice a week schedule, help prevent the bleeding?
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
I have been on the Mylan Brand patch now for 7 years, just recently changed to the Johnson&johnson brand due to having no insurance, because the Mylan were $270 per month and the J&J are at no cost to me. I'm having a hard time finding this brand in any drug store in my area. I live in Southern Maine, South Berwick, Maine to be exact. I have been using the 75mcg Patch for about 8 months now and it has been a god send. There are some uncomfortable side effects with the Patch for the first month or so and they may want to make you stop using the Patch but don't if you can help it, they will go away.
During the first 2 weeks in the mornings I experienced nausea along with dizziness but after I was up for about an hour they would disappear. This continued to lessen as the weeks rolled on.
Is there a pharmacutical company that actually knows how to make a patch that sticks. or this there a way for them to work if they dont stick?? I am in constant pain with 3 kids to take care of....if anyone has any info, please pass it along!!

Is it cheaper using a family or friend as a donor in comparison using an anonymous donor. Where I am living, it cost $16,500 for DE...IVF cost almost $20,000.
Oh my goodness! That is so expensive. Here in new zealand all medical care is absolutely free. It seems unethical to charge someone to give birth!
