Common Questions and Answers about Examples of tongue twisters sentences

tongue

Avatar m tn Today I am 19, and I have trouble speaking 100% and words/sentences end up being tongue twisters for me. It makes me unconfident when I want to ask a question knowing I probably wouldn't be able to say it right. It's like when I speak my tongue kind of trips itself, or better say that it gets "stiff". The sentences that I really have problems with saying usually include alliteration in them, or that.
1415711 tn?1286281354 My wife thinks I am out of my mind at this point. I am constantly checking the strength of my tongue and practicing tongue twisters to make sure I dont have any weakness or atrophy. I have no problems eating or drinking. But despite it all I still cannot shake this tense clumsy feeling in my tongue thats stemming from under my chin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1529301 tn?1326506785 These generally suggest a cancer of or an infection in the region close by. Examples of these may include lung infection, lung cancer, lymphoma in the chest cavity, or breast cancer. Occasionally more distant cancers may seed these lymph nodes, such as genital cancers or colon cancer. Some benign causes of the swollen lymph nodes above the collar bone (clavicle) can include tuberculosis or sarcoidosis.
Avatar n tn The inability to form sentences is a symptom of stroke. Given that she didn't subsequently have one, there might be something intermittent going on that gives the symptoms. I would get checked by a doc and a reference to the kind of doctor that looks at neurological issues, and wouldn't wait.
Avatar n tn I lost 10 prime years of my life and do not want to lose the rest fighting this. I was one of the most boisterous and outgoing people you would have ever met before this started. Now I am just a shell. Please help.
756940 tn?1233905929 I just noticed yesterday a little white bump on the side of my tongue, and I am freaking out. I don't know what it is... I don't believe I ever had one before. It doesn't bother that much... I do feel it on the inside of my mouth and it tingles a little bit. It almost looks like something you could pick off...But i am not going to do that! Not with out knowing what it is. I've been looking at pictures all day tring to figure out what it is.
Avatar f tn Wowza! Real tongue twisters! I have a Carson and a Dawson and often call them Darson in a fluster! If you like the rhythm of those names with the "y" spelling, than Dylan is real cute! You could choose Dawson and spell it, Dasyn. I believe this is a Native American spelling, but it does follow your theme!
Avatar m tn Yes, some kids do have a delay in speaking and it is meaningless. They begin talking in full sentences. I think that I'd talk to your pediatrician about it, however. I always think checking in with an expert is helpful. Perhaps they will have some suggestions for you on how to bring about speech. Or if there is a bigger issue, they can begin to address it as early intervention can do wonders.
Avatar f tn Some examples are how she wants her carseat buckled, who gets her out of car, which cup she uses, how she wants you to phrase sentences spoken to her, how her cup is positioned, etc. I expect a certain amount of defiance from a 3 year-old, however, the battle is over almost everything and her reactions are almost always over the top. There are many days filled entirely with screaming and crocodile tears. She can be very compulsive, particularly when she is tired.
Avatar f tn First check his mouth anatomy. Is he tongue tied? Does his frenulum under his tongue go back too far? Did he make a lot of noises as an infant or was he quiet? The muscles have to to used to build them up to be able to talk. Blowing bubbles helps to build up these muscles and position the lips to be able to talk. We found this out after having a speech therapist from the school district come into our home.
Avatar n tn Over the past few months I have being experiencing severe short term memory loss (to the point that i would forget what i was talking about mid-sentence), headaches, getting tongue tied/ difficulty formulating basic sentences at times and an inability to concentrate on anything for a long period of time. Although these things may not be related I am just wondering if i could have some sort of physical damage done to my brain from the twitch? All help is appreciated.
Avatar f tn food, laundry detergent/sheets, soap, lotion, perfume), stress/anxiety.. The best any of us can advise at this point is to seek medical attention for strictly rash and not HIV.
Avatar f tn I've read up that by toughening up your nipples you can stand in the sun for about 5min every day so that the uv rays can penetrate your skin, and not through a window. I'll be 36weeks on Friday and will start doing that everyday before baba gets here. Don't use any chemicals as this won't help, try not to moisturise the nipples too much as it will soften it up and make sure to give your nipples enough ventilation.
Avatar f tn This is the criteria the doctors look at to decide if your child is autistic (on the spectrum) or not. Parents have also posted examples of their childs behaviour that meets the criteria, so that should help you see what behaviours the doctors are looking for.
11358238 tn?1430409963 I am a LHR provider and it is very true that you can not laser while pregnant as there have never been any studies done on pregnant women and the effects of lasering while pregnant. However, once your bundle of joy is her you can start treatments back regardless of your breastfeeding status as it is not a contraindication. I recommend trying to trim the hair back with a eyebrow trimmer (they are around 10 bucks at most superstores or Walgreens) binstead of waxing.
Avatar n tn My 3 yr old son who turned 3 in feb having not clear voice he speaks in sentences but 50% of his sentences except me its hard to understand for other people.he understands everything & plays very well .
Avatar n tn now he is 4 and a half and the speech therapist just noticed that at the back of his throat his uvula is doubled, and she felt the back the top of the roof of his mouth and told me he has Submoucus Cleft Palate. We since have seen a nose ear and throat specialist and he says that my son doesnt need surgery, and should out grow his nasily sound by puberty. We are still waiting to see another dr, a surgen, and hopefully he will tell me more.
541150 tn?1306033843 I have seen a game advertised on TV that is very similar to that but cannot think of the name of it. The sentence they are trying to guess is, I am a love machine. I think it has like a picture of an eye, the letter M an olive and something for machine. I am sure that someone out there has seen this also and knows what I am talking about. You have to say it enough until the real menaing comes out, just like yours Prettykitty.
Avatar m tn Hi, dmedh, Right now, we're unable to generate reports for you, unfortunately. :( In the meantime, you can email your tracker info to yourself by choosing the "Action" link at the top of your tracker, and then choosing "Email this". You can also print copies of the tracker using the same action link. Hope this helps!
Avatar m tn Hi :) ! A few days after getting two dental screenings from separate dentists (on two separate dates) for a pricing on braces, I got a pain on my inner lip wall. I checked today to see that there is a black discolored dot next to where a canker sore is. I currently have 2 canker sores on each side of my mouth and one on my tongue. No biggie to me initially as I've had a long history with sores, but my worries rely on the black dot. I am a young adult female, 5 ft, with brown complexion.
Avatar n tn Theres a couple of sensory things you mention, but although sensory issues are usually present with autism there are lots of people (children and adults) with sensory stuff and they are not on the spectrum. He is at that age when he should be becoming more social, and I don't notice anything else in your post that concerns me. The ear infections may have caused a bit of a delay. And it is recognised that blind and deaf children do have some similar behaviours to autistic children.
Avatar f tn Ask him to come up with some names... Maybe both explain to each other what you are looking for in a name whether it be rare or somewhat common. Cute or strong. Longer or shorter... Roll.off the tongue etc. Lol. And give examples of what you're talking about. Then hear from him what he likes etc and try to both come up.with options as you go about your days and then share them with each other.... With this baby we had a boy and a girl name picked out.
279234 tn?1363105249 Hi everybody! Quick question....Yes, I've never done a timeline. I thought it might be good to do one but I ran into a problem. How do you make one when you have 3 years of symptoms and events, but you also want to make a short one that is short and sweet? Any ideas on how I should shorten it up? My first attempt was 3 pages..too long. I also don't know if I should explain or include test results...& there is also an issue with a migraine or seizure problem.
Avatar f tn If a child has some motor issues that are even mild in nature, articulation of words can be difficult. Where you see things next would be in the area of fine motor ability. That includes doing any unfamiliar fine motor activity or using a pencil to using scissors, etc. My son has sensory integration disorder and the first signs that a preschool teacher noticed were garbled speech and frequent tripping.
